Skills - Experience and Requirements
A successful HR Advisor will have the following:
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and 2-3 years of direct HR experience supporting a total employee population over 300; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Professional in Human Resources (PHR) or comparable HR certification preferred. Solid knowledge of local, state and federal laws governing recruiting and employment issues.
Solid knowledge of recruitment and selection techniques and requirements of the federal Selection Guidelines and the Americans with Disabilities Act, and strong interviewing skills.
Ability to effectively respond to and interact with all levels of organizational staff, including executives.
Ability to adapt and innovate in a fast paced, growth-oriented and time-critical environment.
Excellent presentation/facilitation, organizational, analytical, interpersonal and written/oral communication skills.
High level computer expertise, including use of database, word processing, spreadsheet, and presentation applications.
