This HR Director will support our Gallagher Benefit Services (GBS) division and has the potential to sit in either Houston, Austin, Dallas, or San Antonio. Given the regional nature of this role you can expect to be traveling about 30% of the time.

As the Human Resources Director you will provide leadership and develop world-class human resources programs. You will guide internal business partners and have the ability to influence change at all levels of the division.
You will invest significant time to improve our investment in human capital; emphasis on developing sales talent, account management, and leadership staff.
You will collaborate with our regional leadership team to manage employee relations.
You will partner with our L D and Recruitment teams to drive the utilization of our shared services.
You will lead merger and acquisition partners to ensure a smooth transition for those employees.

Do I have what it takes to be considered?
We are looking for 7 or more years of related experience. Experience in the insurance/ professional consulting space is not required but helpful.
We would love to see a Master's Degree in Human Resources or a related discipline
We value professional development so a PHR or SPHR Certification would be welcomed
We like to see technical expertise with Oracle HRIS, Taleo, SuccessFactors, and Cognos systems
We need deep experience with employee relations and managing relationships on a remote basis
We have a great leadership team, but there is always room to improve; experience with coaching managers/ executives would be ideal
