The Human Resources Business Analyst for the Americas, is the trusted partner to the reinsurance business at the management level in aligned segments of the North America geography, charged with implementing the people strategy to deliver and embed Gallagher Re HR vision. The successful candidate for this position will have experience building and forging excellent relationships at the management level and advising consultatively on all items people orientated. In collaboration with the VP HR, this role is key to delivering an international people strategy covering the full employee journey to bring this high profile, high performing business together.

Reports to Vice President, Human Resources, North America & LATAM, Gallagher Re
Provides best-in-class service to colleagues throughout the region
Collaborates with HR Manager, and broader Global HR team
Key responsibilities:
Strategic Partnership
Provide expert service to the leadership team to ensure business and people objectives are met
Partner with the VP HR and Reinsurance Leadership team to drive a high performing culture, improve employee experience and retention.
Leverage workforce data to create actionable insights and help the business prioritize areas of impact
Interprets HR Policies and procedures to support the needs of his/her colleagues to drive organizational effectiveness
Employee Relations and Compliance
Support employee relations, offering guidance on a range of matters
Support and drive excellence across the entire employee lifecycle including performance management, compensation, career development and succession planning
Support and drive excellence in Gallagher Re's I&D priorities as appropriate to the region
Develop and implement plans to engage and develop employees
Partnership with Gallagher
Leverage best-practices, proven methodologies, and technology platforms
Develop and maintain broader division and intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture
Support due diligence and HR support strategic mergers or acquisitions in aligned geographies
Continuously evaluate human capital risk: succession planning, employee performance, key opportunities and threats
Partner with the HR COE to include Talent Acquisition and Learning and Development
Ideal Experience
2-5 years of progressive, demonstrable Human Resources experience, ideally within a financial services environment
Experience of working successfully in a global matrix organization, preferably within a multi-region/division organization.
Sector knowledge in insurance brokerage, financial services, or consulting is desired

Able and willing to travel approximately 30% of the time.

About You
Requirements
2+ years of related experience.
Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Organizational Development, or related field
Desired
Technical expertise with Human Capital Management systems (Oracle HRIS, iCIMS, PowerBI, Salesforce, etc.) and a level of comfort managing large HR Data sets
Experience with employee relations and managing relationships on a remote basis
