This is to fill two vacancies: 60056952 and 60072269. Position will be located at the Randall Building in Raleigh, NC and will require travel.

 The Regional Health Care Quality Specialist will support quality needs across the 4 regions. Duties will include assessing observational quality measures, auditing quality processes, and developing corrective action plans while working in tandem with the various disciplines within the correction facilities. Additionally, the Nurse Consultant II (Regional Healthcare Quality Specialist) will report findings monthly to Regional ADONs, Nurse Supervisors, other medical disciplines as necessary, Wardens, and during local and state CQI meetings. These positions will provide the intellectual property to critically analyze issues of healthcare delivery and to ensure guidance and support that is critical to the organization in staying current with standards as they relate to a facility's ACA accreditation.

About the NC Dept. of Adult Correction (DAC):
