Overview

Our Global Mobility Advisory practice is going through a major transformation, with a new strategy, offering and focus. We are looking for the right candidate to join a developing team at grass roots level, helping to continue shaping and building our practice and take it to the next level. Our team consists of Consultants and Analysts at all levels, each with individual skill sets, experience and background, bringing their own contribution and expertise to a close and collaborative team. Using their consultative mind set, our team work with clients to achieve transformational success by:

  • Developing global mobility strategies right for their business and designing and implementing policies and processes, fit for purpose.

  • Reviewing, selecting and managing the right external partners and managing fully outsourced programs on their behalf

  • Providing guidance through the complex world of Global Mobility and mitigating risk

  • Hand holding their valued talent as they move through the relocation cycle

  • Utilizing the best technology available to deliver successful global mobility outcomes

How you'll make an impact

The Global Mobility Regional Manager will play a crucial part in managing end-to-end global mobility for corporate clients from initial design through to on-going management, primarily focused on:

  • Manage the delivery of consulting and outsourced services to regional and global based clients

  • Taking ownership of strategic client projects, of moderate to high complexity

  • Leading delivery of large, complex and VIP cases

  • Top level technical advice for complex scenarios throughout the relocation cycle

  • Day to day ownership of HR/ mobility regional relationships

  • Acting as a point of escalation for clients

  • Working with partners to gain insight on compliance and relocation

  • Line management responsibility of a small team of analysts (to be deteremined on skill set)

  • Identifying, upsell and cross sell opportunities with existing clients

  • Contributing to thought leadership, events and marketing

  • Work alongside the regional Growth Leader, contributing to tenders and new business opportunities as required

  • Bringing innovative ideas to the practice as a whole through pro-active ideas

  • Acting as an extension of our clients, providing feedback, insight and best practice to their global mobility programs

  • Managing our offshore team, delivering administrative and financial tasks

  • Conducting research, analysis and prepare draft materials/ reports for senior members of the team

  • Systematically drawing information from a variety of sources, analysing and identifying implications of data, drawing appropriate conclusions, generating viable alternatives, and evaluating consequences of each solution

  • Liaising with strategic partners for the end to end delivery of mobility to clients

  • Leading client meetings and conference calls

  • Managing numerous ongoing projects, simultaneously in a fast-paced client service environment

  • Focusing on retention of existing accounts by maintaining day-to-day client relationships and ensuring high level client satisfaction

  • Working successfully in a team-based environment, collaborative and accountable while working predominately independently

  • Identifying, researching, and coordinating internal/ external resources in order to resolve a wide range of assignee related issues

  • Managing multiple projects while ensuring the quality and timeliness of client deliverables

  • Communicating complex matters clearly and concisely to clients

  • Collaborating with other team members to recommend solutions/ provide technical reports on various client issues

  • Completing analysis, data collection, market practice comparisons and benchmarking

  • Delegating to junior members of the team and talking responsibility for their work

  • Reviewing the work of colleagues

  • Keeping abreast of all relevant laws and emerging regulations and trends

  • Supporting on key projects and may lead smaller projects.

About You

Required: Bachelor's degree and 7 years related experience required.

Preferred:

  • Experience having worked both within in-house client side and service provider roles previously essential

  • Gained broad global mobility experience over five or more years with a focus on tax advisory, assignment management, compensation, payroll and immigration

  • Experience with designing, implementing and managing new mobility programs (where none exists)

  • Technical understanding of compensation, tax, international payroll, immigration and relocation

  • Two years plus of people management experience

  • Project management

  • Multi-lingual a must - ideally Japanese/ German/ French

  • Solid business acumen
