A Snapshot of Your Day

The UK Siemens Energy Real Estate team look after a portfolio of office and industrial sites covering approximately 260,800 square metres across 3 legal entities in the UK and Ireland. As the UK Regional Finance Manager, you will be responsible for all UK and Irish locations with all relevant financial and commercial aspects. You will play a crucial role in ensuring business continuity and your attention to detail and organizational skills will be key in supporting the financial health of Siemens Energy.

How You'll Make an Impact

• Accurate Budgeting/Forecasting and month end reporting according to the corporate timetable

• Ensure correctness and completeness of financial figures on a timely basis

• Approving of Purchase Orders, invoices, preparation of accruals

• Knowledge of IFRS 16 essential as well as knowledge of accounting for Property, Plant and equipment

• Support Technical partner in identification and implementation of savings measures and ensure accurate reporting and documentation

• Work together with technical partner and projects team ensuring financial and commercial management of maintenance and capex projects including budgeting/forecasting and delivery of projects

• Support process optimization and digitalization / automation in your area of responsibility and foster continuous improvements to increase e.g. cost transparency and accuracy.

• Evaluation and management of opportunities and risks from operational business

• Steer, monitor and control country financial and operation performance including analysis of maintenance

• Commercial support for approvals in terms of case calculations within the country

• Implementation and alignment of SE RE guidelines and principles within country

• Ensuring compliance with accounting standards

• Support adhoc tasks / requirements

• Liaison with external service providers to ensure service quality

• Liaison with local BA leads/local accounting/RE EU Hub/Corporate partners

What You Bring (Qualifications)

• Previous experience in a similar role

• Excellent knowledge of SAP

• Fluent English

• Previous experience working in a numerical or financial environment is required. The post holder should be accounting qualified

• Previous Real Estate experience and international experience is preferred

• Ability to managing finance in a dynamic and growing business

The ability to communicate clearly with different levels of stakeholders across the business

About the Team

You will become part of the Siemens Energy Real Estate team for UK. You will report to the Finance Head of RE for Europe and will work closely together with other business areas in UK as well as with the technical counterparts for your respective region
