What Will Be Your Purpose

The Field Marketing Specialist is responsible for the implementation of best-in-class consumer-facing activations and campaigns under the field marketing capability for Florida Blue.

  • Collaborates with key stakeholders in the market-analysis of community outreach platforms and develops market recommendations to for business development within the field marketing (grassroots/retail/events) platform for retail center locations (as assigned).

  • Using in-market knowledge and creating/leveraging community relationships to optimize business development for clients (and stakeholders).

  • Responsible for initiating and executing assigned activations and facilitations in accordance to the compliance regulations and standards of effectiveness set forth in the scorecard and SLAs/SOWs to include but not limited to logistical support, onsite management, etc. for activations such as: sporting events, care programs, grassroots/outreach, lifestyle events, etc.

Important to Know

  • Must reside in Central, FL or surrounding area with no more than 2hr drive to client sites, events, and meetings

  • 25% travel required some overnight travel, which may include weekends.

  • Ability to work flexible schedule during peak times to include evenings and weekends.

  • Frequent travel during Annual Election Period and Open Enrollment Period (October

  • February).

What Will You Be Doing

Field Marketing Community Outreach and Business Development for Retail Centers

  • Responsible for developing and implementing customized Field Marketing recommendations for programs/tactics and promotional platforms for each retail center and opportunity areas where clinics, partnerships, and product opportunities are located, with a strong focus on opportunity/multicultural audiences for formal proposal development by Field Marketing Manager Planning and Logistics.

  • Decision making and discretion regarding marketing planning in support of regional sales goals

  • Support Field Marketing Go-To-Market strategy, planning, and execution

  • Collaborate with internal cross functional teams to ensure proper execution of Field Marketing strategies

Sales Channel Support: Retail

  • Responsible for the ongoing processing and coordination of in-center care, fitness and community events, vendor/provider agreements/supporting documentation within the SCM process, in partnership with procurement and legal for necessary reviews.

  • Provide support for coordination of Medicare activations and initiatives, Go-To-Market and Local Presence and Experiential sponsorships & activations as needed.

  • Responsible for event related administrative paperwork such as facilities request, COI, image release forms, license agreements and more.

  • Source vendors for consideration of use for media and event related opportunities. Responsible for contract negotiation, payment terms as it relates to company policy, partner communication and more.

  • Reminder communications pre and post activities, ensuring alignment with effectiveness index as indicated in scorecard (materials, actors, vendors, etc.).

  • Responsible for the ongoing tracking and reporting of requests in the systems (Retail Marketing Intake Site and Scheduler Tool).

  • Provide monthly updates of grassroot in-center events using excel and coordinate cross-functionally with event database admin for event uploads. Review event uploads for accuracy within region on event database.

  • Responsible for consolidation of event/program outcomes and reporting results back to stakeholders monthly or supplying as needed weekly or bi-weekly campaign recaps and reporting.

  • Responsible for monthly development, evolution and execution of retail promotional collateral using platforms such as Marketing Connect.

  • Collateral creation could include but is not limited to, monthly event calendars, events flyers, signage, social media ads, sponsorship ads and more. Platform for Constant Contact.

  • Responsible for facilitating retail collateral print jobs as needed.

  • Responsible for creation and promotion of events on social media platforms such as Sprinklr, Facebook, Twitter, Canva, Eventbrite, and more.

  • Responsible for creating copy, graphics, and schedule of promotion. Experience with these platforms is preferred.

  • Responsible for creating and/or managing virtual events. Experience with setting up a webinar, hosting, content creation, copywriting, speaker and guest management, coordination, and more.

  • Assist Field Marketing Manager Planning and Logistics with retail marketing planning, assisting with training program, scheduling, etc.

  • Manage and advise vendor and community partnerships to support marketing strategies targeting key demographics.

  • Manage lead training, generation, and collection process via MoZeus and JumpStart for sales agent follow-up as it pertains to assigned Field Marketing initiatives.

What You Must Have

  • 3 years related work experience in Event Management, Grassroots and Tour activations, Retail Marketing, social media, Viral/WOM Marketing, Field Marketing, Advertising, PR, Campaign Integration, marketing strategy and multicultural consumer engagement.

  • Related Bachelor's degree or additional related equivalent work experience Marketing/Advertising

  • Demonstrated program management, asset optimization, and coordination experience.

  • Must be able to influence without authority and work with all levels of the enterprise.

  • Must be able to multi-task under pressuring deadlines and manage cross-functional teams, agencies, and direct reports through tight schedules.

  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills.

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.

  • Moderate technology aptitude. Strong problem-solving skills and willingness to perform under pressure during short deadlines.

  • Presentation skills.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Power Point, Excel, and Share Point.

What We Prefer

  • Knowledge of principles and practices of health care industry, to include Health Care

  • Bilingual (Spanish)

  • Product development, marketing, or sales experience.

  • Bi-lingual (Spanish)-Required for South Florida Staff.

General Physical Demands

  • Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally to move objects.

  • Must be able to travel to multiple locations for work (i.e., travel to attend meetings, events, conferences).

  • Occasionally May be exposed to outdoor or warehouse conditions of loud noises, vibration, fumes, dust, odors, and mists.

  • Occasionally Must be able to ascend and descend ladders, stairs, or other equipment.

Salary

To support your financial wellbeing, we offer competitive pay as well as opportunities for incentive or commission compensation. We also conduct regular annual reviews with pay for performance considerations for base pay increases.

Typical Annualized Hiring Range: $62,500 - $78,100

Annualized Salary Range: $62,500 - $101,500

Final pay will be determined with consideration of market competitiveness, internal equity, and the job-related knowledge, skills, training, and experience you bring.
