The purpose of this job is to provide maintenance for all store related equipment and facilities while ensuring compliance with environmental rules and regulations.

This position will require someone with:

  • High school diploma or equivalent certificate required

  • Valid state driver's license required

  • Minimum five years' preventive maintenance experience required

  • Trade or vocational school preferred

  • Class B Environmental certification required after hire

  • Prior experience with electrical, plumbing, and HVAC systems

  • Basic understanding of construction practices

  • Intermediate mathematical skills

  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to collaborate and work both on a team or independently with minimal supervision

  • Strong attention to detail

  • Climb ladders

  • Lift up to 30 pounds

  • Work with electric and fuel systems

  • Exposure to inclement weather

  • Ability to bend, stoop, twist, crawl

  • Travel required up to 85%; varies by region

The basic duties of this position include:

  • Inspect multiple facilities following a comprehensive facility maintenance checklist; perform preventative maintenance repairs

  • Respond to maintenance work orders; perform minor electrical, carpentry, and plumbing services

  • Collaborate with general managers to review and resolve open maintenance issues

  • Maintain communication with dispatch; report steps taken for work order resolution

  • Respond to corporate project requests and surveys; resolve issues and report findings to supervisors

  • Communicate with multiple teams and management on a weekly or monthly basis to ensure compliance and consistency regarding maintenance projects

  • Advise managers of maintenance concerns and ensure creation of work order requests

  • Utilize various computer systems to track and report maintenance requests

  • Participate in company sponsored safety training classes

  • Maintain technical and product knowledge on all equipment within the technician's area of responsibility

  • Model behaviors that support the company's common purpose; ensure guests and team members are supported at the highest level

  • Ensure all activities are in compliance with rules, regulations, policies, and procedures

JOB PURPOSE Perform preventive service and maintenance to Midco's regional network. KEY FUNCTIONS * Perform preventive maintenance and repair to services on Midco's regional network. * Sweep and balance the regional network to detect and/or correct imperfections. * Identify areas in need of service and repair including, but not limited to adjustment and alignment of equipment used for signal processing, amplification, and transmission. * Take appropriate preventive measures to repair and maintain the regional network in customer homes and commercial property from the Headend. * Demonstrate proficiency in and working knowledge of several areas of network systems; recognize deviations and distinguish them from accepted practices. * Repair and maintain equipment, network systems and all components. * Ensure that all documentation is timely and accurate and in compliance with FCC and company regulations. * Troubleshoot and repair ingress and egress problems in the regional network including, but not limited to transmission levels, signal loss, off-air interference and equipment failures. * Maintain signal performance by proactively testing the network on a regular basis. * Install, maintain and repair power supplies and provide splicing and activation of the regional network. * Provide technical support and guidance by assisting with the resolution of installation or service problems encountered at customer sites. * Install and disconnect video, internet, and telephone services in customer homes and commercial property as needed. * Repair and/or wire cable from poles/pedestals into customer homes and commercial property; wire additional outlets as needed. * Complete Midco First Time Right certification within 90 days of hire.
