Regional Facilities Manager

Onsite

  • Reston, VA- Primary work location (Travel to Supports East Coast Territory)

M-F standard workweek. (Must be willing to work overtime to support special projects and meetings)

$153,600 BOE

The Regional Facilities Manager (RFM) will be responsible for facilities operations and capital planning for customer sites throughout, Rhode Island, New York, Massachusetts, Virginia, Maryland, DC, South Carolina and Florida. This position requires an individual with a passion for customer service, where no detail is too small; one that will manage and promote a high level of customer service; partners with the client's Corporate Real Estate team; fosters and maintains relationships with the client's Executive Leadership, Property Management and all associated service providers. The individual we are seeking will be play an instrumental part in building and maintaining a transparent partnership and create an exceptional customer service experience. The role will manage and coordinate account related deliverables and responds to client satisfaction concerns. Supervises facility management staff to ensure maintenance of the facilities assets and grounds are in a manner consistent with the client's global standard, professional brand image and in compliance with applicable local laws, rules and regulations for effective reporting and service.

  • Work collaboratively within the facility management team to deliver integrated facility management services across all business lines (Finance, Transactions, Projects, Occupancy Planning, etc.)

  • Manage, supports, and provides guidance to an existing facility support operation team, consisting of (6) Facilities Managers, (2) Assistant Facilities Managers.

  • Mentors, develops, and coaches direct reports to improve leadership strength and assist in achieving career growth

  • Assure vendors meet or exceed client's satisfaction with client's requests within scope of services and CMMS request.

  • Ensure client satisfaction with delivery of facility management services and provide a lead role in monitoring and increasing customer satisfaction.

  • Provide support, guidance, and evaluation of the development of expense and capital budgets to include variance reporting and forecasting reviews.

  • Support the Account IFM Director in the implementation of short and long-term projects/initiatives for the client.

  • Assist in the development and implementation of the annual management plan within the area.

  • Accomplish key performance indicators as identified by the account lead and/or client leadership.

  • Participate in the monthly/quarterly/annual reporting appropriate for the client.

  • Maximize utilization of suppliers, preferred vendors/contractors.

  • Ensure compliance with JLL minimum audit standards and client's standard processes.

  • Must be able to work irregular hours and/or weekends

  • Willingness to travel for site visits or as needed; to include some overnight travel within assigned region.

  • All other duties and tasks assigned.

Critical competencies for success -

  • Experience managing and supporting high profile facilities to include commercial buildings, warehouses and manufacturing.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience in Facilities or Property Management.

  • 5-10 years of experience in facilities or property management with a third-party provider, corporation or as a consultant

  • Knowledge of commercial real estate, HVAC, electrical systems, telecommunications, furniture and building energy management systems

  • Supervise vendor performance during normal and off hours, including weekends, when necessary

  • Strong Accounting and budgeting/forecasting experience

  • Strong organizational and management capabilities

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to forge and maintain robust working relationships

Estimated total compensation ran for this position is:

153,600.00 - 153,600.00 USD per year

The pay range listed is a total compensation range including bonus, if applicable. The provided range is an estimate and not guaranteed. An employment offer is based on applicant's education, experience, skills, abilities, geographic location, internal equity and alignment with market data.
