As a Regional Facilities Manager, you'll lead a team responsible for all aspects of facilities services and operations in the Bay Area. Your high-level management abilities, strategic thinking and leadership skills allow you to manage service delivery across functions, departments and businesses. You're comfortable working in a matrixed organization, building trust in difficult situations, getting buy-in and consensus from leaders with diverse opinions, driving decision making where trade-offs are required, and keeping information circulating so that REWS can grow with Google. You'll manage, develop and motivate a team of Facilities Managers who are responsible for the operations of a subset of buildings and facilities in each campus. The team provides support and partnership to help the client-facing REWS teams solve complex workspace challenges and achieve outcomes that exceed our client's' expectations.

The Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS) team creates inspiring spaces and innovative services that bring Google's culture and values to life. We build and maintain all aspects of what keeps our Googley workspaces operating seamlessly across multiple cities and regions globally. We also manage the industry-leading services that help make Google a great place to work -- from how we design healthy and collaborative workspaces, create energizing food experiences, provide convenient transportation and fitness options, to delivering inclusive environments where Google and our employees can thrive.

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent practical experience.
  • 9 years of facility management and service experience with an emphasis on facilities, hospitality, corporate services, property management or equivalent office management.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree in related field.

  • Industry related certifications (CFM, FMA).

  • Experience overseeing and governing facilities budgets with financial, agreement management, and purchasing skills.

  • Proven record of impacting strategic change and initiatives.

  • Ability to think 'out of the box' and bring creative, nonstandard, and innovative solutions to the table.

  • Advanced people management and leadership skills, with proven ability to influence at all levels and across business lines.

  • Act as a subject matter expert, become a trusted partner, build relationships with business leaders and cross-functional teams to enhance the employee experience.

  • Communicate strategies to executive management through timely, relevant, thorough, and tailored communication.

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Google facilities teams who oversee a vendor partner for Facilities Services.

  • Collaborate with peers to ensure consistency and best practices across regions, while consistently innovating to improve effectiveness of our facilities.

  • Manage individual and team performance, focusing on developing future talent and leaders in the organization.

About the Role Walmart eCommerce is seeking an experienced Inventory Manager to join a fast-paced, new fulfillment operation. This is a startup business where you will leverage your inventory management experience and knowledge of supply chain to develop processes, identify technical solutions, and be hands on to maintain accurate inventory records in a ground zero operation. Responsibilities * Accurately forecast inventory demand and capacity utilization within Facilities * Build reporting to effectively monitor forecast accuracy vs plan * Develop inventory allotment and allocation plans by seller and/or FC * Devise ways to optimize inventory control procedures * Ensure product stock is adequate and can cover direct demand from customers * Audit deliveries and shipments to reconcile inventory * Develop peak and non-peak planning forecasts and processes * Proactively manage promotion planning to effectively inform Operation partners * Make recommendations to Sellers to replenish stock avoiding insufficiencies or excessive surplus * Build and maintain effective relationships with Sellers to drive engagement, trust and productivity * Collaborate with Fulfillment leadership and other staff to ensure business goals are met * Develop KPIs, reporting and communication mechanisms with Sellers to actively manage inventory health * Report out weekly on business status to leadership Minimum Requirements * Proven experience as inventory manager or similar field * Excellent knowledge of data analysis and forecasting methods * Working knowledge of inventory management software (e.g. ERP) * Ability to accurately track inventory and create reports * Must be proficient in Excel * An analytical mind with strong math skills * Excellent organizational and planning skills * Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities Preferred Qualifications * MBA with heavy analytics focus and/or Master's degree in math, statistics, operations research, or related quantitative discipline such as engineering or supply chain management About Walmart.com The Walmart US eCommerce team is rapidly innovating to evolve and define the future state of shopping.
