Regional Engineer- Permabase

SUMMARY:

The position of Regional Engineer is responsible for project management and process engineering services. The position will involve projects in their full scope from initial estimating, proposal submission, construction and start-up. The position will also design and implement other projects related to safety, quality, process optimization and productivity improvements. This position requires up to 50% travel.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES (not all inclusive):

• Major focus will be on projects related to the manufacturing plants (Green Cove Springs, FL, Cleburne, TX, Clinton, IN and Bromont, Qc, Canada) with the intent to standardize the plant network as much as possible

• Develop project scopes; estimate equipment, installations, engineering costs and prepare project schedules for Appropriation Requests

• Complete all project assignments within established scope, budget, and schedule

• Design of and/or oversee preparation of construction drawings packages for capital projects

• Oversee field construction activities and personnel

• Project start-ups to completion

• Specification and procurement of equipment and engineering and construction services

• Design and implement other various projects related to safety, quality, process optimization and productivity improvements, where needed

• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• BS in Engineering, with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.

• Computer skills - Microsoft Office, AutoCad, required

• PLC programming and HMI experience a plus

• Willingness to travel to support project installations & startup

• Experience in manufacturing facilities, project design and management, process improvement, required

• Engineering design experience

• Ability to plan and coordinate a project from start to finish

• Ability to handle multiple projects

• Ability to travel in multiple locations including Canada, required

• Excellent communication skills

• Ability to work in a team environment

• Ability to communicate over phone / computer to help support plants

• Ability to travel up to 50%

• Ineligible for hybrid work
