GENERAL FUNCTION: Oversees sales and client service activities of Trust Officers within assigned region.
Directs trust activities, including direct management of client assets and supervision of the fiduciary activities of Senior Trust Officers.Actsindependently within established trust policy guidelines to develop, recommend, and execute actions and strategies designed to achieve the objectives of some of the largest and most complex client accounts. Participates in the developmentandenforcement of trust policies and procedures and contributes to the trust strategy and philosophy for the organization.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
oWorks with client advisors to ensure Trust Officers participate in the development of new business opportunities by meeting with prospects, preparing and presenting proposals for trust services.
oAchieves annual revenue growth & sales results for their assigned Affiliates and Region.
oOversees trust activities for large or multiple Affiliates by acting as the chair of the Regional Trust Committees (BAQ and DAQ).
oEnsures Trust Officers are operating within established guidelines including adherence to policies and procedures, compliance activities and strategies.
oMaintains awareness of new estate planning and trust strategies, techniques and products through regular contact with other industry professionals and through internal and external research.
oDevelops technical and communication skills of Trust Officers through mentoring and training programs.
oEnsures that Trust Officers' activities reflect the intentions of each trust or agency agreement and that strategies are appropriate to accomplish those objectives.
oStays informed of market trends and analyzes the effect of these trends on clients' trust and investment portfolios.
oStays current on the legal and tax issues with respect to trusts and estates by consulting attorneys, accountants and other resources as needed.
oEnsures that all established policies and procedures are adhered to. Remains aware of any changes in the areas of risk management and compliance that would result in a necessary change in policy.
oEnsures Compliance requirements for entire assigned Region.
oParticipates in the development of investment related policies and procedures, as requested.
oResponsible for building internal and external visibility for the bank's trust services.
oEnsures that the team develops satisfied clients through frequent contact and delivers on established service standards.
oRegularly engages with other members of management, client team and external advisors to ensure effective communication with all significant clients in the assigned Region.
oSeeks improvement in level of talent of Trust Officers and Trust Associates in their assigned region.
oResponsible for etention of relationships/accounts for region.
oBuilds effective partnerships internally and externally.
oEnhances the sales/service model through continuous improvement.
oEnsures the Life360 process standards met by affiliate Trust Officers.

MINIMUM KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS REQUIRED:
.BS/BA is required. Business Administration, Finance, Economics is preferred; successful candidate is likely to have an advanced degree, such as an MBA or CFA. Uses effective problem solving and analytical skills.
.Significant leadership experience including the ability to establish and execute on a strategic vision that aligns with the company's overall strategy.
.Experienced operating in an environment that stresses both individual accountability and team-based performance.
.Generally, the incumbent should have 10 - 15 or more years of clearly defined trust experience; clearly defines and defends trust strategy policy and management skills.
.Exhibits a sense of urgency and a continual drive to results coupled with an ability to partner effectively with management at all organizational levels.
