Regional Director, Ohio University

Embedded Office Director Job Responsibilities:

Reporting to Assistant Director of Account Management, the Embedded Office Director will serve as the main contact for our partners at Ohio University, including staff and faculty, as well as an initial point of contact for their students considering education abroad. Based in Ohio University's Center for Advising, Career, and Experiential Learning, Office of Global Opportunities, the Embedded Office Director, under the strategic guidance of both Custom Programs and ISA/TEAN leadership, will work collaboratively with Ohio University's Office of Global Opportunities and stakeholders across campus to recruit and advise students participating in WorldStrides faculty-led programs, as well as educate and serve individuals and units on campus who support those students. The Embedded Office Director is the main point of contact for faculty interested in leading a program abroad with WorldStrides Custom Programs, with responsibilities ranging from developing proposals for programs, assisting with promotion and events, such as pre-departure orientations before a program departs, and managing the logistical details of the program from confirmation to travel.

Embedded Office Job Duties:

• Meet and exceed annual sales goals and targets in order to maximize revenue growth

• Identify new prospects at Ohio University by connecting and building relationships with university partners including Office of Global Opportunities staff, faculty, and other administrators

• Develop a comprehensive awareness and understanding of WorldStrides' relationship with Ohio University, including the needs, pain points, and priorities of the students, staff, and faculty around education abroad

• Assist with management of WorldStrides programs within Ohio University's portfolio, including projects such as program development and identifying featured programs

• Develop and implement a strategic plan to increase partner engagement through the development of collaborative initiatives that help realize Ohio University objectives and growth for WorldStrides

• Utilize and maintain WorldStrides CRM database systems, effectively managing the sales and program management and program management processes

• Student lead generation aiming to foster exceptional service to our partners at Ohio University

• Design and host student-facing activities, faculty meetings, and other outreach activities as needed to achieve goals

• Champion WorldStrides programs at study abroad events, pre-departure orientations, and other institutional engagements

• Follow standards of best practices laid out by bodies that support education abroad

• Report on enrollment, trends, opportunities, and projects to WorldStrides colleagues and leadership

• Maintain detailed records of all activities

• Support WorldStrides internal teams and external university partners in the region as needed

• Serve as account manager for all confirmed custom programs
