The Regional Director of Health Services oversees thedelivery of health care and supportive services provided by Health ServicesDirectors and the direct care staff at the community level in the assistedliving facilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

  • Responsible for the development and implementation of training programs for staff in the assisted living environment meeting state and federal requirements as well as company policies and procedures.

  • Assists and trains health services directors in attaining the skills needed to meet the care needs of the residents, fostering a non-clinical, resident-centered approach to the planning and delivery of services, and supporting residents' rights to participate in decision-making.

  • Provides training to the health services directors on the company assessment tool and the development of care plans assessing the health, functional and psychosocial status of each resident.

  • Communicates and trains staff on corporate protocols and participates in policy and procedural development.

  • Audit nursing records and chart notes periodically or no less than two times each year at each community.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of all rules and regulations pertaining to resident care in each assigned state and responsible for keeping informed of industry and health care trends and standards, applying new knowledge to meet the changing needs of residents.

  • Participates in the marketing efforts of the management team by representing the residence in a positive manner to outside agencies and participating in residence social functions.

  • Participates in trouble-shooting with Executive Directors and Health Services Directors and keeps the Senior Director of Clinical Services up to date on field activities and developments


  • Supports a dignified and caring atmosphere with residents, residents' families, visitors and staff.

  • Protects privacy and confidentiality of information pertaining to residents, employees, the residence, and company information and records.

  • Maintains a safe and secure working environment and practices safe working habits.

  • Complies with the attendance policy.

  • Maintains neat appearance, good personal hygiene, and appropriate attire.

  • Assists with special projects as assigned and performs other related duties.


Participates in recruiting, selecting, training, overseeing, motivating and evaluating community Health Services Directors.


Must have a current, unencumbered RN license. Excellent written and oral communication and motivational skills. Ability to creatively problem-solve in both resident care and employee management situations. Individual must be a team player, well organized, and flexible.


Registered Nurse consulting experience for multiple facilities, with a minimum of 3 years working in geriatric nursing, including experience with medication administration, delivery systems and pharmacies. Two years in supervisory/management position, with experience with budgets, staff development and training.

S/he will be responsible for developing and implementing local regional campaigns as well as implementing globally developed campaigns within the region in support of the yearly revenue objectives for the cytogenetic, molecular testing and IVF fertility segments. Reports to Director, Regional Market Development. Ideal candidates for this position will be a results-oriented leader and will coordinate closely with Global Market Development, Product Management, Sales and other partners at various levels in the company. S/he acts as project lead and liaison to internal and outside vendors, maintaining excellent professional relationships, in order to facilitate the conversion of marketing ideas and messages into effective marketing programs. S/he will be responsible for defining and implementing regional and globally developed campaigns, events and promotions to build a pipeline of prospects, and engage with customers across research and industrial segments. The candidate would have the opportunity to collaborate across multi-disciplinary teams and cultivate key partnerships with KOLs in support of strategic programs. Successful candidates will combine strong scientific understanding with strategic analysis, business acumen and leadership skills. Responsibilities: * Lead cross functional teams as an individual contributor to develop tactical action plans that drive revenue growth. * Develop annual strategic marketing plans and network them with Sales, Product Management and Global Market Development. Proactively lead a joint partner planning process that develops mutual performance objectives, financial targets, and critical milestones associated with a productive partner relationship. Update plans quarterly based on the market opportunity and channel feedback and network them for alignment and execution support. * Drive qualified lead generation and conversion programs that result in sales and long-term customer satisfaction. Measure and report on market effectiveness. * Develop messaging & tools that communicate the value/brand directly to customers through multiple channels, including sales force, digital marketing, events and word of mouth strategy. * Gain customer insights to develop tools and shorten the sales cycle. * Synthesize customer experiences and feedback to product management and global marketing for strategic message, applications and product concepts. * Support Commercial in-field activities including customer & field education on utilization of new and existing TaqMan and microarray-based products. * Develop scientific proof points to increase system placements and reagent utilization. * Maintain relevant knowledge of competitive activities and develop effective countermeasures. * Develop and implement sales force training with assistance from relevant partners; participate in sales discussions and customer visits, where possible. * Work collaboratively with the sales force on business development opportunities. * Lead and drive strategy, cross-business coordination and tactical execution for selected North America-based trade shows and conferences, from large international conferences, to smaller local workshops and seminars. * Establish relationships with customers, key opinion leaders SKILLS and REQUIREMENTS * Required: Bachelor's degree in molecular biology, genetics, biology, with >5 years in a Life Sciences, genomics or in vitro diagnostics in a marketing or product marketing role * Preferred: experience in clinical molecular genetics and able to talk the clinical geneticist's language experience. Sales experience a plus.In depth knowledge of the reproductive health market and competitors with knowledge of applications, * Lab experience in genomics technologies such as PCR, Microarray and Sequencing * Required: Has thorough functional understanding of corporate marketing functions, planning and strategy. * Preferred: Proven track record of success in growing sales in clinical molecular genetics or diagnostics, including managing relationships with Key Customers/ opinion leaders in their field * Proven experience in a strategic role working collaboratively and independently to drive results * Required: Customer focused, results driven and demonstrated business acumen * Required: Able to develop, align and execute impactful tactical plans with clear objectives, quality deliverables and key performance metrics. * Required: Ability to work on problems of routine to diverse scope.
