THE ROLE
The Regional Human Resources Director partners with senior leaders across multiple business verticals and properties to provides strategic advice on a wide variety of areas to maximize organization effectiveness and performance. The Regional HR Director provides expert recommendations, counsel, and coaching to senior leaders, managers, and employees on all employee related issues such as, but not limited to: performance management, documentation, progressive discipline measures, career development, employee relations, policies and procedures, succession planning, and all employment/labor laws. The person stepping into this role will proactively anticipate employee relations issues and provide counsel to resolve them. The Regional Director is also responsible for building bench strength in the organization through the identification, recruitment, and development of top talent.

QUALIFICATIONS

Outstanding leadership skills with a high capacity for managing multiple projects simultaneously, influencing and gaining credibility with all levels of employees, management, and clients.
The ideal candidate has a minimum of 10 years' human resources experience, preferably supporting revenue generating departments.
Bachelor's Degree from a four-year College or University required, Master's degree a plus.
Employee relations experience, including conducting investigations.
Detail-oriented and extremely organized with the ability to learn new programs and procedures quickly.
Strong interpersonal and customer service skills, business acumen, organizational savvy, and have sensitivity dealing with confidential information.
High energy, with a focus on details.
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Experience with UltiPro and Workday preferred.
Experience in a union work environment preferred, but not required.
Experience managing and developing a team of HR direct reports.
Must be flexible to work extended hours due to business requirements including nights, weekends and holidays.
Candidates located in the DFW, Chicago and/or NY market preferred.
COMPENSATION
Salary Range: $120,000-$140,00 + Bonus
