Title: Regional Director Business Development, Biologic Analytical Services

The Regional Director Biologic Analytical Services will manage, coach and lead the a team of Business Development Account Executives that is responsible for developing new business and nurturing existing accounts in accordance with defined targets and the strategic plan for the Morrisville and Kansas City sites.
The Regional Director Biologic Analytical Services will support achievement of the Site's / Technology's financial goals by supporting the site with new and existing business acquisition. This role will manage the Business Development team in accordance to the processes and sales procedures as outlined and defined by the organization. This role will drive the execution of market launch plans, new technology introduction to customers, exhibition and conference support and other commercial activities and customer support as necessary.
Lead and assist the BD team in delivering proposals and developing relationships with customers. Work with each team member to acquire and close new and existing projects with target customers.
Provide guidance to Business Development team regarding targeting, account management planning, territory planning and setting of yearly goals.
Oversee and deliver robustness in funnel/pipeline for new and existing business. Oversee and drive compliance with sales tools. (SFDC opportunity management, Miller Heiman tools etc.)
Work with site management and the sales operations team to establish wins and revenue targets for team members and manage the funnel size and win rates to support target achievement.
Analyze metrics to determine best path to BD goals and steer team to alternative paths to achievement as necessary. Oversee and review territory plans with team members.
Work with site management at RTP and KC to define paths to budgeted revenue and wins targets
Lead the BD team and work with Marketing to deliver Go To Market strategies for new programs
Participate in key exhibits and conferences to engage in industry events and network with key clients.
Participate with peers across the BU to provide training, cross selling and best practices.
5+ years of relevant experience in sales team management
Relevant industry knowledge of biologic processing and analytics
Analytical, financial skills, business acumen
