This is Regional Credit Officer withinour Commercial Real Estate Credit Risk Management Team with specificresponsibility to support the Community Lending Division within the CommunityDevelopment Corporation ("CDC"). This position reports to Senior CreditOfficer assigned to the CDC.
In this role, the candidate will primarilysupport the approval process and portfolio management of loans and investmentsin Low-Income Housing Tax Credits including the structuring of new loans and investmentsand ongoing monitoring of the portfolio. Additionally, the position will include approving investments in NewMarket Tax Credits, Historic Tax Credits and Renewable Energy Tax Credits in aback-up role and also special projects. The current portfolio consists of 475 loans with $3 billion incommitments
This individual will work closelywith relationship managers, business line managers, CDC Asset Management andCDC Project Management to ensure that investments meet or exceed the bank'sasset quality and risk management objectives, while helping the business lineachieve its profitability and growth goals.
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
15 or more years of experience in an applicable riskmanagement environment
5 or more years' experience in one or more of thefollowing: credit approval; riskmanagement; work out; underwriting; portfolio management for tax creditinvestments; commercial banking; and/or commercial real estate.
10 years or more years of credit, investment and/orbanking experience including credit analysis, structuring and portfoliorisk management.
Considerable knowledge of credit policies, creditanalysis, procedures and philosophy.
Demonstrated analytical and risk analysis skills.
Demonstrated leadership skills.
Demonstrated skills in partnering and relationshipbuilding across business lines.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Well versed in Microsoft Outlook, CAPE approval routingsystem, and other bank systems.
