Summary:

This role is a direct report to the Vice President of Finance for our Automotive and General Industrial division. Based in Detroit, MI the Regional Controller will act as the liaison between our plants and our North America Shared Services Center. This role will review monthly financial statements, prepare capital project requests, create budgets, and be responsible for other financial analysis

Major Responsibilities:

• Provide accounting & analytical support for Office Managers, General Managers, and Vice Presidents.

• Facilitate month-end and year-end closing of all plant financials.

• Assemble all customer KPI and CPQ data from plants and submit to SSC.

• Prepare and submit authorized capex data in Hyperion. Review and approve all ECAR POs and invoices.

• Visit plants and perform sample testing to ensure they are following proper procedures in billing, purchasing, pricing, payroll, credit terms/limits review, alloy tracking, fixed asset tracking/review, expense review, and GRNI reporting. Prepare audit report and distribute to plant management, VP of Ops/Finance.

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• This position must satisfy ITAR compliance requirements, therefore candidates must be U.S. Citizens or Permanent Resident Card Holders.

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent; CPA preferred.

• Minimum of 10 years progressive experience in accounting functions for a multi-site, multi-national company.

• Proficiency in Hyperion, AX, Navision, or other ERP software.
