Summary: Works with subject matter experts (SME's) to develop, implement, assess, train clinical programs and policies. Executes/coordinates onboarding, orientation, and training for new clinical leadership positions to include but not limited to RDC, DON, ADON, Unit Managers, MDS, SDC, etc. Manages training plans and monitors completion of assigned training in Relias or other system training required. Coordinates ongoing curriculum training as requested. Evaluates competencies and reports on successful completion of aforementioned training Coordinates with the Vice President of Clinical Services and Regional Teams in identification of and implementation of Corporate/Regional initiatives. Works with SMEs to develop systems and programs regarding IPC. Proficiency in understanding Industry Infection Control Practices including the use of Infection Watch or other electronic and/or audit tools to assure compliance with IPC program per CDC and CMS guidance, to prevent, recognize, and control the onset and spread of infections in order to provide a safe, sanitary, and comfortable environment for all assigned facilities is required. Collaborates with the VP of Clinical Services to coordinate and schedule all QCR processes for assigned facilities. Ensures the effectiveness of tools/processes used to promptly and proactively identify care concerns in all aspects of the QCR process. Extensive multi-state travel and remote assistance may be required.
Qualifications:
Education:
Licenses/Certification:
Licensed as a RN/PA/NP preferred.
Valid CPR teaching certificate preferred/willing to obtain
Current with state Continuing Education (CE) Requirements.
Wound care and IPC Certification or ability to obtain
Experience:
Three years of clinical experience, of which one year was in a long term care environment.
One year of experience as an instructor preferred.
2 years of experience in long term care and operations and governmental relations preferred

Utilizes VP Clinical Systems and VP of Quality and Compliance as subject matter experts and resources.
Ensures that employees are in compliance with training and education in accordance with the Company Code of Conduct, including documentation of all training in accordance with state, federal and compliance requirements and company assigned educations via Relias audits.
Educates the clinical leadership on the global company clinical processes, tools, systems and expectations to ensure standardization of aforementioned at each region and facility
Coordinates with the VPs of Clinical Services and Regional Directors of Clinical to identify training needs and scheduling/conducting education.
Coordinates/conducts Regional level Orientation/Training and ongoing curriculum as determined
Ensures participation of the support teams and provides education/training as needed for the QCR process. For example, visits targeted facilities that are trending in a given area and reviews clinical processes and validates systems.
Assesses QCR tools and processes to ensure updates are made reflecting industry regulatory or practice changes are incorporated.
Analyze/trend QCR data to provide information necessary for facilities/regions to determine what areas need to be included in Quality Assurance Performance Improvement (QAPI) at facility and regional levels.
Attend regional QAPI meetings to assist with root cause analysis (RCA), plans of correction (POC) and Performance Improvement Plans (PIP). Is a resource for QCR teams

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Ability to travel extensively (>75% of the time) including overnights/weekends
Knowledge of learning principles and training techniques.
Skilled in developing and conducting training programs.
Skilled in work assessment.
Ability to communicate effectively with staff members and at all levels of the organization.
Knowledge of state and federal requirements for accreditation and certification.
Possesses basic computer skills
Ability to work with a culturally diverse resident and employee population.
Experience and ability to manage multi-facility operations related to education
