Position Summary

Reporting to the West F&I RVP-John Saro, the Regional Business Development Manager will primarily focus on growing new business and increasing the overall market penetration in the assigned territory through successful new account development by selling and implementing Dent Wizard's Evolution F&I products and programs to new customers.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Business Development/Sales

  • Serve as a dedicated strategic partner to drive development of new Evolution business, with overall responsibility for customer relationships, account planning and new business growth.

  • Craft and implement strategies for closing new business and increasing Evolution market share in dealer ancillary channel of business.

  • Responsible for the penetration and growth of all Evolution product lines to include but not limited to: Always-NU, Ding-Shield-One, Smart-Shield, NU-Key

  • Steer business results by using strategic selling skills, including the ability to negotiate deals that create a win-win for the customer and Evolution.

  • Partner with local Dent Wizard operational leaders (RVP's, ROD's, DM's, etc.) to maximize business opportunities.

  • Leverage industry intelligence/information gathered to support development of Evolution's F&I footprint to gain market share.

Customer Relationships

  • Act as key contact while leading the effort to grow new business by building relationships, with key dealership personnel in assigned territory.

  • Develop, and maintain a relationship plan for all prospective accounts, including client histories.

  • Arrange and participate in personal client visits individually or in coordination with other personnel when needed within the dealerships Sales & F&I departments.

  • Be engaged on all new business account kickoffs, to assist and ensure that all sales, marketing tools, and programs are actively promoted.

  • Stay informed of business opportunities, current competitive activity, market trends, marketing/branding, and other related issues that may have an impact on Evolution's success.

  • Represent Dent Wizard and the Evolution Division at professional trade association meetings, client seminars, conventions, etc. as required.


  • Manage Region's Sales-Force Pipeline to ensure information is accurate and timely.

  • Develop ongoing 30-60- 90 day sales plan of action each quarter.

  • Maintain sales/customer database.

  • Lead a biweekly review of Sales Pipeline with RVP.

  • Manage travel and hospitality expenses to remain within budget.


  • Minimum of three years' experience in the Automotive F&I retail industry, complete understanding of all F&I products lines, to include but not limited to: selling F&I- Vehicle Service contracts, Gap, Pre-Paid Maintenance, Road Hazzard Tire & Wheel, & all Ancillary Products.

  • Minimum of three years' experience within the F&I Income Development Industry. i.e. to have worked as a rep managing dealership F&I products, F&I training, & income development within the dealership.

  • Strong hunter profile with a proven track record of success.

  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain positive and product working relationships with customers.

  • Proven ability to create and implement strategic plans to increase new business accounts within the region.

  • Flexible, resilient, diplomatic, tolerant, and able to break down silos for the greater good of the company.

  • Credible and persuasive communicator and an active listener.

  • Excellent presentation skills.

  • Must be able to travel extensively (up to 70%).
