Slalom is seeking an AWS Leader to join our newly formed Regional Delivery Team (RDT). RDT helps our clients transform their businesses by providing local teams access to cutting edge capabilities and scarce expertise. You will help support, develop, and expand new capabilities throughout the regions, which will require about 60-80% travel.

This leader will provide thought leadership to our clients, set strategic direction for the practice, and ultimately drive sales, recruiting, consulting, and operational efficiencies. This individual will also be accountable for ensuring the overall quality execution of business and technology consulting across the full platform of AWS services. In addition, you will partner with customers, Slalom AWS alliance team, and Slalom local market teams in the Southwest Region to craft scalable, flexible and resilient architectures that address customer business problems.

This person will also work closely with AWS and Slalom team members to evaluate new AWS services and features and evangelize the best thinking from Slalom on how to market, sell and deliver these services.


  • Accountability for the practice, including driving sales, recruiting, account management, consulting, and all operational aspects, including:

Practice Building

  • Drive overall growth of practice area through a combination of business development, talent management, oversight of delivery work, and thought leadership.

Business Development

  • Lead business development activities, leveraging professional contacts for the benefit of the Company.

Team & Individual Development

  • Maximize team performance through an effective team approach that increases productivity and job satisfaction.

Engagement Management

  • Manage engagement risk, project economics including planning and budgeting, managing accounts receivable, defining deliverable content, and ensuring buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client.
  • Identify opportunities and sell services to both new and existing clients

  • Manage executive and Senior executive-level client stakeholder relationships

  • Work with teams to capture best practices and develop case studies and other core deliverables to build solution offerings

  • Participate in industry forums, events, and speaking engagements; manage production of project deliverables, budget, and presentations to client personnel and leadership

  • Mentor, develop, and proactively support practice capabilities per market demand

  • Support recruiting and on boarding of new employees and development of leaders


  • 10+ years of experience focused in software engineering security and DevOps engagement-based consulting experience or equivalent industry experience

  • Deep AWS in a production environment (e.g. network, security, deployment, automation, serverless technologies).

  • P&L experience from a comparably sized consulting firm

  • Demonstrated professional growth and the proven ability to work cross-functionally

  • Proven history of leveraging and growing existing client base; organic business development responsibilities; i.e. growing new account/clients from the ground up

  • Deep experience with managing people, including mentoring and leadership skills

  • Background in full stack software engineering and agile delivery

  • Expert business operations experience (e.g., invoicing, SOW, margins, utilization)

  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills to audiences of all levels including client facing skills

  • BA or BS Degree

Now developing revenues and geographic coverage through a carefully crafted expansion strategy, we will expand our ecosystem partner network to drive a next wave of growth as enterprises and mid-size business expand their leverage of their digital workforce to drive their digital transformation road-maps. Key to our success is our ability to understand and develop partner best practices and extend them throughout our partner network. The ability to help integrate and leverage Blue Prism expertise, and deliver Blue Prism and ecosystem partner solutions, to help accelerate the time to value for customer RPA investment will be a priority. Helping to develop and implement a clear set of metrics to measure performance will support increased behaviors and practices throughout the ecosystem or determine where partner engagement needs to be adapted. This is a regional role and will require close networking with Blue Prism partner and professional services colleagues to enable success The goal is to ramp our communication with our partner network to ensure we are at the front end of driving both improvement in our internal processes as well as those of the partners, and to enable the delivery of consistent, scalable solutions to our Partners in line with current business objectives. </p><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p>• Engaged with go to market and/or global and regional partners for high growth companies inclusive of multiple partner models, e.g. resellers / VARS, alliances, advisory, managed service providers, distribution / master resellers, etc. </p><p>• Experience with partner models in the Intelligent Automation / AI / Cognitive market, e.g. digital transformation, data centre transformation, application virtualization, innovative customer experience strategies, regional / global application reach, efficiency plays, etc. </p><p>• Software industry, cloud industry preferred; Intelligent Automation industry experience required </p><p>• Working in or for a partner ecosystem company, e.g. distributor, master reseller, etc. and/or in an enterprise software company with responsibility for developing, managing and/or evolving a global partner network </p><p>• Experience in driving partner ecosystem engagement and customer engagement through a partner network for enterprise go to market </p><p>• Experience in creating joint solutions for enterprise software providers and Alliance Partner companies; positioning joint value propositions to enterprise customers to support strategic up-selling and partnership development </p><p>• Experience in leveraging partner programs, partner tiering, partner marketing incentives, partner pricing models, etc. that will incentivise our partners and enable Blue Prism to optimize our next growth waves </p><p>• Technical background and/or ability to speak to / develop reference architectures as they apply to partner go to market strategies and programs and AI/Cognitive capabilities as they interact with Blue Prism’s digital workforce and application partner’s digital worker skills road-map as this is a key assumption of our most valuable partner selling and implementation engagements </p><p><br></p><p><strong>Personal Attributes </strong></p><p>• Strategic thinker; ability to research / investigate options and drive to recommendations </p><p>•Team player and virtual team leader </p><p>• Self-motivated, results orientated, proactive and reliable </p><p>• High-energy, shows passion and commitment </p><p>• Excellent understanding of complex solution sales cycle </p><p>• Broad industry experience – Corporates, Public Sector, BPO </p><p>• Excellent communicator both written and verbally; strong presentation skills </p><p>• Inquisitive and tenacious with the ability to find new opportunities </p><p>• Ability to work in a high pressure, fast moving and challenging environment </p><p>• Credible at executive and operational level </p><p>• Willingness to travel <br></p><p><br></p><p><strong>Your Responsibilities: </strong></p><p>• Implement a partner success model with existing partners and customers, leveraging Blue Prism technology and ecosystem partner solutions. Leveraging Blue Prism experts, industry experts and adapting best in class models for partner adoption. </p><p>• Develop relationships with Blue Prism partners in each category and tier. Develop an understanding of their experiences to help align on the key business process and policy changes / improvements we need to make to improve overall partner success, increase partner loyalty and Blue Prism partner wallet share </p><p>• Understand the go to market strategies of the key partners and determine the best way to optimize Blue Prism within their plays. Provide cross partner education and enablement to drive best practices across the partner landscape </p><p>• Measure and report partner success (or ineffective behaviors) based on customer feedback and overall partner performance. Benchmark performance expectations and drive improvements and/or changes in the partner relationship as required. </p><p>• Align with customers and the Blue Prism CCO team, Account, and Partner, Managers to solicit and provide feedback on where they see partner effectiveness and lack thereof.
