Balance Autism is looking for a Regional Assistant Clinic Director to add to our team! This individual is responsible for assisting the Regional Director by in overseeing the programming duties at our Iowa City and Waterloo Clinics, as assigned by the Vice President of Children's Services. This is a supervisory role with direct reports that are involved with programming.

Essential Duties of this position include:

  • Collaborates with the Regional Director and others to ensure appropriate oversight, development, training and retention of Clinic Supervisors/BCBA and Program Coordinators.

  • Collaborates with the Regional Director to ensure growth through recruitment, selection, and retention of Children's Services supervisors and student cohort, etc.

  • Collaborates with other regions and departments to ensure that the health and safety needs of the person(s) served are met through the development and maintenance of systems and procedures.

  • Assists the Regional Director in all assigned tasks related to quality programming including providing oversight, coaching, mentoring and training of others who develop individualized programming.

  • Provides oversight, review and implementation of assigned clinic/regional metrics including weekly, monthly and annual reporting.

Additional Duties:

  • Focus every day on supporting people with autism as they gain higher levels of independence, including skills related to: hygiene, personal care, building social relationships and networks, communication, and community involvement as needed.

  • Communicate professionally with legal representatives, families and allied professionals.

  • Develop and maintain a positive relationship with individual(s) served and co-workers to promote successful outcomes.

  • Attend and successfully complete all training sessions to generate constant learning and continuous improvements.

  • Serves as a contact for family/guardians and outside agency communications, providing follow up to concerns in a timely manner and keeping ongoing record of all such contacts.

  • Will oversee the welcoming, onboarding, and training of staff according to Balance Autism policies, including participate as a trainer for orientation classes or competencies.

  • Provide consultation services to other locations as assigned.

  • Assist with maintaining and monitoring systems for compliance with Balance Autism policies and payer guidelines and regulations.

  • Conduct or assist in Quarterly Interactions (QIs) and evaluations for direct reports.

  • Coordinate the sharing of assessment, programming and supervisor resources across the region, allocating personnel as needed.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Masters Degree with five years related experience in leadership in ABA or equivalent education and experience combination

  • BCBA Certification and 3 years of supervision, demonstrated experience working with individuals with autism

  • Valid Driver's License and Automobile Insurance
