The purpose of this role is to lead and manage the Retail/Dealer After Sales support to drive sales and profitability in the US by supporting dealers to ensure operational service levels are met, dealer and retail after sales issues are resolved and provide expert support.
This position will be responsible for the following states: Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont, Massachusetts, Connecticut, NY and NJ.
Develop and execute the strategic business and operations plan that directly support the overall vision and company objectives.
Direct implementation and execution of after sales policies and practices.
Facilitate the peak performance of the after sales organization and dealer network as related to service support for retail stores, service business development, dealer operational performance, and business growth.
Recommend sales and operations strategies for improvement based on market research and competitor analyses.
Facilitate alignment between the dealer, retail and balance of the organization.
Regularly assess (through reports, dealer surveys, and other reconnaissance) the performance and support needs of our dealers and retail stores as it relates to after sales functions. Formulate and implement solutions that address deficits.
Assess competitive activities and strategies. Implementation of tactical as well as strategic initiatives to maintain and grow Husqvarna's brand position in the marketplace
Partner with Sales, Product Management and Marketing groups to develop or refine after sales and promotional campaigns or to craft extemporaneous programs that respond to the competition.
Direct the planning, forecasting and performance measurements necessary for peak regional performance.
Develop and execute the strategic business and sales plan that directly support the overall vision and company objectives.
Partner with the executive leadership team to establish effective service business development offers.
Develop and manage regional operating budgets.

Internal: Marketing, Finance, Product Management and Development, other Sales channels, HR, Legal, Operations, Warehousing, Transportation, Planning
External : Dealers
Qualifications (Education and Experience):
Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in a senior-level sales position, including leadership assignments involving long and short term strategy; and recruiting, managing, motivating and coaching a sales team with emphasis on meeting sales goals and increasing market share.
Experience managing dealer relationships
Experience in developing and executing plans that have driven significant incremental revenue and EBITDA growth in their business
Business leadership experience in the Outdoor Power Equipment industry
Mechanical expertise of outdoor power equipment (i.e., certified in small engine repairs)
Extensive knowledge and understanding of support, repair and quality for petroleum based and battery based outdoor power equipment
