What you will do:

  • Achieve quarterly and annual sales goals and objectives. Driving business transaction linearity and pipeline development are critical at ForeScout!

  • Identify and doggedly pursue sales opportunities at assigned accounts. Drive business development and pre-sales initiatives by leveraging your strong industry and technical background.

  • Build in-depth knowledge of clients' business priorities, challenges and initiatives that can be translated into ForeScout solution opportunities. Build value-added relationships within the domain of the account - become the trusted advisor.

  • Use knowledge of; technology, products, processes, industry expertise, and consultative sales skills to assess and educate customers on value of ForeScout's solutions.

  • Develop multi-level relationships within assigned accounts using available internal and external resources, and where appropriate channel partner resource, to maximize revenues opportunities and establish ForeScout as a strategic, long term partner.

  • Execute an effective account/opportunity management and business planning process which is supported and influenced by a virtual team to include ForeScout Senior Executives, field sales and sales management, Product Management, Engineering, Professional Services, Technical Consultants and relevant Channel Partner Managers.

  • Align with appropriate delivery teams to leverage follow-on business from one delivery mission to another. Attendance to major Project Milestones and Executive Reviews.

What You Bring to ForeScout:

  • Ideal candidate has 2+ years selling experience in the region with another 2 years inside or junior training at well recognized inside sales organization, known for developing its sales talent.

  • The candidate must have a history of repeated success at every level, from winning in high school/college competitions to President's Club - winners are most welcome!

  • Proven track record of recent sales to enterprise accounts with 10,000+ employee companies.

  • Understand how to solution sell multi-product software & hardware solutions.

  • Excellent presentation skills is a must.

  • Proven ability to work effectively with and across all levels of business contacts within large and complex organizations.

  • Experienced negotiator working with our customers and partners to complete terms, conditions, considerations, and pricing.

  • Team player that collaborates within an internal set of multi-functional teams such as Sales Engineers, Inside Reps, Marketing, & Professional Services to ensure target quotas as achieved and exceeded.

  • Highly developed business development, negotiation skills and ability to influence contract content.

  • Thrives in a high-paced, changing work environment (really, you'd be bored by anything less).

  • Ability to multi-task while maintaining attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent industry experience.

The Regional Sales Manager (RSM) is the primary front-line sales representative for strategic accounts and is vital to our organization's ability to deliver customer value and drive accelerated growth. The RSM works within a strong network of talented professionals who provide industry leading customer service and support via; Senior Leadership, Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, Field Service, Technical Support, Project Sales, Bids Team, and Technical Applications professionals. The candidate must reside within close proximity to Phoenix, Arizona. This role is responsible for strategic sales targeting large customer accounts with multiple influencers in their assigned geographic territory. This position will be responsible for promoting the company's products, from instrumentation and reagents to fully integrated solutions and services. Working from a home office, this highly autonomous role requires strong business acumen, planning, and the ability to execute strategically. Essential Functions: * Develops monthly sales territory and account plans to achieve assigned targets. * Executes planned activities and documents in Hach CRM, Salesforce.com (SFDC). * Manages all opportunities utilizing SFDC and following standard sales process steps. * Prepares and presents a monthly funnel review utilizing SFDC to demonstrate the quality of the funnel, activity plans and command of the account base. * Prepares and presents monthly forecast by accurately managing opportunity dates, dollar value and probabilities in SFDC. * Establish and maintain relationships with engineering firms and other accounts that indirectly influence the buying decisions of the customer * Develops a network of customer and industry contacts in the territory to position Hach as a key member of the water management community * Collects and reports information on all competitive activity, business opportunities, sales trends and results within the assigned market providing input during monthly business review * Participates in sales activities including: customer site visits, telephone contacts, trade seminars and shows, product demonstrations/evaluations, customer seminars and channel management. * Acts as a mentor for the growth and development other RSMs. * Provides key field input in corporate programs including market research, Kaizen events and equipment beta testing. * 5 or more years of direct sales experience. * B2B experience selling complex industrial products and solutions. * BA, BS or MS degree required. A degree in a science related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, Engineering or equivalent is an asset. * Experience in 1 or more Hach vertical markets is an asset (Waste Water, Drinking Water, Power, Beverage or Industrial Water). * Formal sales training and/or experience in value selling. * Hands on experience using a CRM (i.e. Salesforce.com). * Ability to travel up to 50% within assigned territory. * Must have a valid driver license and a driving record which is acceptable Hach.
