The Regional Account Director will be responsible for the relationships, management and solicitation of accounts where 90% of the locations are within specific regions or 5,000 cases of annual volume for FIJI Water, Justin Winery, Landmark Wines and JNSQ. In addition to the regional accounts the Director will be tasked with high profile & high volume local accounts that require specific maintenance and relationships to be built for the entire portfolio as designated by the Regional Director or Division Director.
The Regional Account Director will report to the Regional Director or Division Director depending on Geography. The Regional Account Director will be working closely with the local On-Premise Managers but will not have any direct reporting responsibilities to and from the local teams
Here's what you bring to the table:
Build Regional Account Target Lists by state that are to be reviewed and approved by the Division Director and National Account Team
Focus on Independent Hotel Management and Restaurant Groups, Regional Country Club Management Groups, Regional Gyms, Regional Nightclub groups and Specific High-Profile Accounts as outlined by the Division/Regional Director
In Market work will be 90% on own and 10% with local representatives when in the markets
Build presentations and proposals for target accounts/groups
Review Profit Planners and Formal Business reviews at a min 2 times per year with the buyer/decision maker at each group
Understand State Pricing, delivery dates and Minimums required for proposals
Work with the local teams for regional account set-up, credit applications and correct pricing
Create P/L for new account opportunities and work closely with the Executive Director of National Accounts/Business Development for compliance and pricing requirements prior to submission to Senior Vice President for final approval
Review Regional Account Targets with the National Account Team to make sure there are no issues with existing National Account banner, contracts or programs
Ensure local teams are accruing for all program elements and forecasting for increased volume
Expand Current portfolio footprint in the existing accounts and survey the potential properties for incremental placements prior to decision maker meetings
Be the main point of contact with the accounts to help with any pricing, delivery or day to day problems associated to the group and communicate to the local team for solution and resolution
Create Incentives and Programs for the Regional Groups, track progress against the programs and complete final rewards to the parent company or individual outlets
Achieve Department Goals for this position that will mirror the National Account Team for New Accounts, Renewed Accounts, Focus Programs, Red-White-Blue Placements and Volume/D&P Spends.

Computer Skills - intermediate to advanced capabilities within MS Office Suite: Word, Excel,
PowerPoint and Outlook
Communication -- strong oral presentation and written abilities are required
Organization -- effectively put together presentations and ability to produce updated
information on activity, volume and accounts for the region
Deadlines -- capable of meeting and holding team accountable to time sensitive goals
Customer Service/Follow-up -- ability to strengthen and increase strategic relationships
Availability -- accessible to the team, for night or weekend events as it relates to regional on premise business
