A Day in the Life
Reporting to the Area Vice President, the Regional Manager manages all sales activity for Medtronic ILS'
products and services within an assigned region through a direct reporting sales team. This includes the
setting of success criteria, providing leadership for achievement of goals for the regional sales team,
forecasting, analyzing and reporting on sales, implementing policies, and maintaining budget. Directs the
region's sales personnel and works cross-functionally with other internal Covidien ILS departments to
maximize sales efforts. Acts as a liaison between senior leadership and the region to ensure effective
two-way communication that will drive results. Manages to a clear strategic direction and is accountable
for the attainment of region sales goals.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements
Bachelor's Degree in Business/Marketing or related fields
Continuing education in sales & sales leadership
Track record of sales performance
Track record of sales leadership performance
Strong presentation skills 1 on 1 and in group settings
Proficient with Word/Excel/PowerPoint
Track record of successful execution of corporate initiatives
Minimum 5 years of medical industry sales experience
Preferred 6+ years of medical industry sales experience
Preferred 3+ years of medical industry sales leadership experience
