The Refrigeration Mechanic position, which reports to the Maintenance Leader, provides support to Plant Operations.
Excellent communication skills. Must to able to communicate with both hourly workers and supervisors and managers.
Knowledge of refrigeration and air conditioning systems.
Ability to troubleshoot refrigeration and air conditioning systems both electrically and mechanically.
Must have a working knowledge of 3 phases (240V and 460V power).
Industrial mechanical experience required.
Completion of the RETA "CIRO" Test administered by the Refrigeration Engineers and Technicians Association required.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and OE manual.
Completed Reclaim Universal Certification.
Flexibility to work shifts as needed.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE PREFERRED
High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalency with a vocational or technical focus (Training in Industrial Technology or a related field preferred).
Prior industrial maintenance experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment
