About YouYou are a craftsman skilled in all aspects of refractory material and installation. You are both motivated and hard-working and collaborate with teammates to achieve results. Health and Safety are a top priority and being a team player, you are reliable and committed to producing quality work.In addition, you have:

• 2+ years of refractory work experience required
• Relevant educational background eg. Refractory or Masonry qualification preferred
• Welding and forming & pouring practical experience is advantageous
• Knowledge of OSHA/MSHA safety requirements
• Focus on safe work practices, strong work ethic, good attitude

About the jobAs a Refractory Mason/Installer you will be responsible for tearing out and installing refractory/brick in industrial plants across the country. Your tasks will include:

• Installation of brick and refractory materials into shapes and combinations
• Keying in brick rings
• Welding, cutting, grinding, installing anchors, forming, and pouring
• Installation of refractories products using various applications including, gunning and shotcrete applications
• Able to interpret and understand drawings eg. Anchor centering/pattern, brick combinations
• Performs preventative maintenance on equipment rotary guns, jackhammers, brick saws, and other equipment.
• Operate equipment and machinery including but not limited to forklifts, man lifts, and scissor lifts.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to stand and/or be on their feet 10-12 hours per day
• Must be able to lift 50lb as needed
• Must be able to go up and down on ladders, steps, or other lifts as needed
• Must be able to perform various tasks in confined spaces and elevations.
• Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug testing as well as pre-employment physical and background check.
• Ability to work a flexible work schedule, long hours and travel as required
