This role requires a wide variety of strengths and capabilities, including:

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent experience

  • Expertise in application, data and infrastructure architecture disciplines

  • Fluency in architecture and design across all systems

  • Knowledge in at least one area of technical architecture

  • Strategic thinking and passion for business strategy and business processes

  • Experience in risk and risk control compliance

  • Ability to work collaboratively in teams and develop meaningful relationships to achieve common goals

  • 5 or more years working as a solution architect or data analyst role within Transaction Banking domain

  • 5 years of experience in the payments domain as a technologist supporting the wholesale business

  • Advanced knowledge of Enterprise systems, Reference data domain and application architecture disciplines

  • Experience with different process and data modelling methodologies,

  • Enterprise and application architectures and reference data platform implementation

  • Expert at developing Functional and Technical Specifications, Process Flows, Data Analysis, Mapping Documents, Agile concepts and other similar project deliverables

  • Adapt at working in globally diverse teams and forging relationships with key business stakeholders and application development teams

This role is a member of the Banking Architecture team with primary responsibilities as a subject matter expert on Banking Reference Data Program to support reference data analysis and modelling, define data system architecture and data & process flows, and assist with strategic platform implementation and target state alignment of transaction applications. He/she will be involved into end-to-end solution design depicting flow sequences across functional components and partner applications, including mapping of reference data onto the logical data model and align with payment transactions, demonstrating adherence with service level requirements and covering all possible exceptional processes. Objective is to ensure appropriate design considerations for meeting architecture standards, product capabilities, target operational model and technical stability, resiliency and performance.
