The Reference Data Management Senior Manager position will be responsible for overseeing the processing of complex Security Coding requests and support strategic initiatives focused on changing the bank. This includes large volume data analysis, data gap and coverage analysis, reconciliation between systems, identifying common patterns, root cause analysis, exception processing, issue tracking, escalations, writing procedures, writing test scripts and conducting user trainings. It includes working closely with the business and technology on providing end-to-end operational support for strategic and tactical projects, regulatory driven initiatives and market /vendor mandated changes. In addition, working with Technology and BA teams to implement system solutions, streamline operational processes, identify process efficiencies, reducing manual processes via system automation, drive UAT and regression testing. The position supports the Department Manager in process redesign reviews, audit prep including coordination of management preparedness, review/maintain consistent RCSA's, being the point person and lead audit interface, and building key relationships within all levels of the organization to further control objectives.

Additional responsibilities include:

  • Responsible for and contribute to the management & delivery of project initiatives, maintenance and problem resolution.

  • Work and collaborate with other global project team members in sharing knowledge and problem resolution.

  • Supervision of junior staff to ensure delivery of their tasks which contribute to the projects.

  • Oversight of security set ups and modifications

  • Oversight of Pre Market Open and Post Market Close events

  • Oversight of reconciliation and data quality projects

  • Gain thorough industry knowledge quickly and effectively interact with other operating units

  • Be able to work hands on with tight deadlines

  • Ensure adherence to all audit policies and procedures.

  • Provide SIT, UAT testing with strategic technology rollouts

  • Coordinate with global coders in other regions to resolve issue

  • Understand global procedures to support other markets during off hours

  • Independently assess workflow issues and redirects work as necessary

  • Provides subject matter expertise to related projects

  • Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies

  • Interprets data and makes recommendations

  • Ability to perform deep dive analysis and draw conclusions

Job Qualifications:

Minimum Requirements:

  • Three years of management experience

  • Familiarity with a wide array of financial instruments

  • Knowledge and familiarity with financial product data vendors (Bloomberg, Reuters, S&P, Telekurs, etc.)

  • Experience running small to medium sized teams with global interaction

  • Strong organization skills with an excellent attention to detail

  • Ability to focus on high quality work while under pressure

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office Suite, including proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint

  • Strong teamwork skills in a local setting, as well as across different geographic locations

  • Must possess strong written and oral communication skills with the ability to be assertive

Preferred Requirements:

  • Two to three years of experience in Reference Data Operations

  • Previous hands on experience with financial securities data and project role.

Responsibilities: * Represent Information Security in cyber resiliency and business continuity/disaster recovery working groups and projects. * Evaluate and help ensure the completeness and correctness of cyber related risk management and BC/DR deliverables, especially as they pertain to resiliency scenarios. * Coordinate with threat intelligence analysts to ensure the cyber resiliency components of risk management and BC/DR products and deliverables are and remain relevant given adversary TTPs and motivations. * Develop and formalize a cyber-resiliency framework to help drive efficient and effective decisions by senior management at the bank. Minimum Required Qualifications * A demonstrated ability to analyze the security of high availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity plans and solutions. * Understanding of the technical fundamentals of networking, Windows, Linux, and application development, especially as they relate to high availability and disaster recovery during both cybersecurity and non-cyber related events. * Strong critical thinking and analysis skills as well as the written/verbal communication skills necessary to organize and concisely convey complex technical & strategic topics. * Strong presence and a demonstrated ability to build consensus across diverse teams. * Strong ability to recommend non-technical solutions to cyber relevant BC/DR scenarios. * Minimum 10 years in Information Technology or Information Security. * Minimum 5 years in a technical role in Information Technology or Information Security. Preferred Qualifications: * Prior experience designing disaster recovery and high availability solutions. * Prior experience executing disaster recovery plans, especially if it's due to cyber security events. * 15+ years of experience in Information Technology or Information Security.
