Sign on Bonus
$300 after 30 days
$ 500 after 60 days

Dura-Line's Clinton, Tennessee production facility is looking for Reel Builder!
Key Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Reviews the production schedule and determines the reels required to maintain production on the shift.
· Brings returned reels from reel return area to the lines for re-use, using a forklift.
· Paints and stencils any returned wood reels that do not meet appearance requirements. Reels must be painted and stenciled before they can be used on the extrusion lines.
· Builds/Assembles any reels not available from the return reel inventory required to maintain production.
· Grinds line scrap from extrusion.
· Maintains a neat and orderly work area.
· Follows all safety requirements for the position and all company safety guidelines.
· Completes appropriate paperwork to ensure accurate inventory transactions.
Follows all company-standard and position-specific safety requirements, and reports any unsafe working conditions or broken equipment to the Extrusion Supervisor
Performs any other duties assigned by Supervisor and/or Production Manager

Attention to Detail
Ability to perform simple math, add, subtract, multiply, divide and take measurements
Knowledge and understanding of the job duties of Downstream Operators, Material Handlers, and Reel Builders
Knowledge and understanding of the grinder, smooth core procedures and operation
Valid lift truck/forklift license
Working knowledge of grinders, extruders, printers, reelers, vacuum systems, chiller systems, resin systems, pullers, quality control standards, and product specifications
Understanding paperwork procedures and documentation requirements
Familiarity with inventory procedures for raw materials used in extrusion
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable assistance
Ability to climb ladders, listen to equipment, look for defects and sense temperature changes in the finished product
Ability to spend 8 hours a shift on foot around hot machinery
Ability to move from one area to another by stepping over and/or bending under objects
