Red Classic - Business Development Representative
Red Classic is headquartered in Charlotte, North Carolina and is a wholly owned subsidiary of Coca Cola Bottling Consolidated Company. The Red Classic Transportation Planner's role is to plan a fleet of trucks/trailers/drivers to ensure optimum productivity, service levels and revenue, as well as, understanding and meeting the needs of our customers and drivers.
As a Business Development Representative for Red Classic Transit Services, you will focus on the fleet maintenance aspect of our business. You will create and manage your individual portfolio of accounts while working in a team environment. Business generated through inside and outside sales of industry referrals, prospecting, and business to business selling. You will be addressing concerns and implementing solutions for both established, as well as prospective customers. You will also play a key role in the continued growth for the Fleet Maintenance Management Services within Red Classic.
Development of customer sales plans which contribute to the achievement of annual new business revenue goals
Proactively develop a new portfolio of clients
Educate and sale potential customers on the benefits of Red Classic Fleet Maintenance Management Services.
Analyzing profitability of prospects
Full understanding of the competitive influences and risks within each account
Take charge of client service issues through to the point of resolution
Manage existing accounts while also generating new business
Build and foster strong relationships
Integral part of the RCT Commercial Project Work stream contributing to the financial growth of RCT's Fleet Maintenance Management organization
Associate or Bachelor's degree with course work in business and/or marketing or equivalent job related experiences is preferred
Minimum of 3 years of Sales industry related experience
Basic understanding of business and project management fundamentals
Must be comfortable with "cold calling" and prospecting plans for both existing and new customers
Must possess good customer service and closing techniques skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to sell into new accounts but also understand internal capacity
Ability to manage customers and also foster a cross departmental collaboration
Extensive computer knowledge
Attention to detail and confident decision making skills
Excellent driving history
Travel for this role will be up to 75%
Salesforce knowledge would be a plus
