Atlantic Staffing has immediate openings in Wilmington, NC

Candidates will be responsible for sorting recyclable material (including bottles, cans, paper products, cardboard, plastics, etc.).

Duties:

Sort and segregate recoverable materials (e.g., aluminum, plastic, paper, etc.) from incoming material.

Deposit recoverable items safely and efficiently into appropriate chutes.

Assist other sorters on an as-needed basis with heavy or bulky items.

Follow all Company safety policies and procedures, including stopping the conveyor belt in emergency situations.

Inspect incoming loads for unacceptable material; remove unacceptable items as required.

Clean recycling area by sweeping, raking, picking up broken glass and loose paper debris, or moving barrels, can and bins.

Perform other job-related duties as assigned.Requirements:

Must be able to stand for long periods of time, bend, twist, reach, etc.

Must be able to work in potentially cold or warm environments.
Steel Toe Work Boots are required.

Must be able to lift 25lbs

Must be able to work over 40+ hours per week

Overtime is required.

Clean criminal background required

Must be 18 years of age or olderHours & Shifts:
Mondays- Friday with some SaturdaysDay Shift:
6 AM

6 PM
$9.50 an hour with $14.25 an hour overtime

All candidates will be required to pass a Pre-Employment Criminal Background, Drug Screen and E-Verify.

Our Community Waste Collectors are responsible for the nightly doorstep collection of trash/recycling at one of the many apartment communities we service.No experience required, we will train the right person! (all driving is done on-site)</li> <li>Nightly use of our proprietary field app. to check in/out of the community, report resident non-compliance and submit nightly reports</li> <li>Maintain daily contact with your Field Operations Manager</li> <li>Work quietly and efficiently keeping noise to a minimum so not to disturb residents.</li> <li>Other duties as assigned</li> </ul>RequirementsMINIMUM REQUIREMENTS<ul> <li>Must be 18 years of age or older</li> <li>Must be able to lift up 25-50lbs and use hands/arms repetitively</li> <li>Be able to climb stairs; 3-4 story apartment buildings</li> <li>Be able to bend/twist at the waist and potentially reach above shoulder level</li> <li>Be able to walk the distance of an apartment community</li> <li>Be able to work outdoors and be exposed to various weather conditions</li> <li>Must have open bed pick-up truck *required at most properties </li> <li>Must have a valid driver’s license/auto insurance for properties where truck is required</li> <li>Must have a cell phone (Smart Phone) to download our app.</li> <li>Be self-motivated, reliable and able to work independently</li> <li>Be able to work efficiently without sacrificing quality of service</li> </ul> Offer of employment is contingent upon the candidate successfully passing a pre-employment criminal background check and clean driving history.
