Under the general direction of the Division of Facilities Planning & Management's Director of Human Resources, the Recruitment Specialist is responsible for the execution of recruitment activities and working with Hiring Managers to identify, attract and hire highly skilled talent. This position executes coordinated hiring plans and recruiting strategies as well as enhances the Division of Facilities Planning & Management's visibility and reputation in key recruiting channels including recruiting for workforce diversity. This position supports the full cycle of the recruitment process including the development of search strategies, recruiting, interviewing, referencing, offer creation and negotiation, and coordination with the Division of Facilities Planning & Management (FP&M) Onboarding Coordinator. This position will also serve as a subject matter expert regarding the UW-Madison recruitment and assessment policies and practices.
With a 24 hour a day, seven day a week operation, consisting of 1100+ Academic, University, Temporary and Student employees, the Recruitment Specialist plays a lead role in advancing recruitment best practices throughout the division in order to support FP&M's mission of providing excellence in facilities and services for our university community.
