The world's leading private security organization, G4S, has an immediate job opportunity for a Human Resources Recruiter. As a Human Resources Recruiter, you will be responsible for recruiting billable Security Officers for the local area branch office.

Role Responsibility:

Specific Duties and Essential Functions

  • Screen and interview applicants to determine their eligibility and suitability for employment

  • Liaise with Site Managers to record openings and track status of the requests

  • Liaise with Site Managers and trainer regarding training and placement of new recruits

  • Ensure compliance with G4S policy and employment laws regarding pre-hire screening

  • Research no/low cost recruiting methods

  • Research, organize, and attend local job fairs

  • Create and maintain outreach relationships

  • Provide assistance to Human Resource team with Affirmative Action and EEO requirements

  • Successfully navigate electronic application systems to process candidates for hire

  • Create reports, memos, letters and/or spreadsheets in business software such as Microsoft Office or Google office products

  • Multi-task and handle multiple complex projects simultaneously

  • Conducting in person interviews; Scheduling of New Hire Training; Employment compliance, AAPs, posters, outreach, re backgrounds; Community outreach programs; Conducting external or in office large scale job fairs; Managing and administering Backgrounds, Drug Screens and MMPIs; CompStat participation; Participation in Customer Transition activity; Implementing Customer transitions

The Ideal Candidate:

Education, Licenses and Certifications Required

  • Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

  • Must be able to meet the requirements of a state licensing test if driving a company-owned or client-provided vehicle

Type and Length of Specific Experience Required

  • Must possess a minimum of one year of verifiable recruiting experience in a high volume environment

Skills Required

  • Proficient computer skills including Microsoft Office

  • Effective oral and written communication skills

  • Active listening skills

  • Ability to assess and evaluate situations effectively

  • Ability to identify critical issues quickly and accurately

  • Attention to detail

Other

  • Must be at least 18 years old or the minimum age required by the state, if higher

  • Must be a U.S. citizen or a foreign citizen authorized to legally work in the United States

  • Must be able to interact cordially and communicate with the public

  • Must submit to a pre-employment drug test

  • Must submit to an extensive background check, including history, personal references, employment and education verifications, and Department of Motor Vehicle and credit checks if applicable

  • Must be able to provide, upon job offer, a DD214 discharge document with discharge status indicated, if prior military

Physical Requirements and Environment

Environment: Indoor, Office environment with minimal to no exposure to extreme temperatures

Major activity: Working on PC while sitting

Physical efforts to carry out job duties: Standing, walking, and sitting. Minimal to no stooping or kneeling

The Inquiry and Customer Service team within Distribution Services supports the travel agency and travel partner commission needs of more than 5,100 hotels around the world. As the Inquiry Specialist, you will assist hotels and travel agents by resolving excellent travel agent commissions. Your timely and accurate resolution and payment of travel agent commissions has a direct impact on agent booking behavior. You will have established production goals to maintain; the key objective is to ensure that commission related needs of our hotels and our travel partners are either met or exceeded in a timely manner. More specifically, you will: * Facilitate the commission payment process cycle through researching and resolving inquiries for Hilton's hotels each month. * Process Manual Adjustment Forms (MAF's). * Handle customer-care calls and emails regarding travel planner commissions, MAF's and inquiries on behalf of our hotels. * Handle special projects on an as needed basis.
