Job Summary The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for generating enrollment in Fortune School of Education TK-12 programs and meeting student recruitment and enrollment targets. Recruitment Specialist is also responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and aggressive recruitment program under general supervision.

Recruitment Specialist serves independently in all areas of territorial management and accountability in Sacramento and San Bernardino Counties. Visits schools and makes presentations to groups and individuals. Serves as primary point of contact for all recruitment outreach activities.

Job Summary The Recruitment Specialist is responsible for generating enrollment in Fortune School of Education TK-12 programs and meeting student recruitment and enrollment targets. Recruitment Specialist is also responsible for designing and implementing a comprehensive and aggressive recruitment program under general supervision.

Recruitment Specialist serves independently in all areas of territorial management and accountability in Sacramento and San Bernardino Counties. Visits schools and makes presentations to groups and individuals. Serves as primary point of contact for all recruitment outreach activities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Duties include but are not limited to: Marketing Program Prepare advertisements for print and online media.

Develop database to track the outcome of recruitment strategies. Develop, implement, and maintain School Messenger email communication system. Develop the annual schedule for recruitment sessions and activities.

Recruitment Travel is required to maintain and develop public awareness for the charter schools; including, seasonal door-to-door canvass activities. Manages and coordinates community workshops and recruitment efforts; arrange visits, tours, and enrollment meetings for prospective students and parents. Visits preschools and head starts, speaks to groups and individual parents, and meets with preschool and head start administrators and counselors to promote outreach activities.

Coordinates and implements various recruitment programs and marketing strategies for territorial and onsite enrollment programs and special events relating to targeted middle schools, head starts, preschools, transfer, and underrepresented communities in fulfillment of selling FSE's high quality college prep schools. Serves as a primary point of contact for Home Office coordinated internal "Refer-a-Friend" and "Every 1 Counts" campaigns and coordination of referral-based recruitment and enrollment management in collaboration with the charter school Program Analyst. Serves as point person for oversight of territorial recruitment goals and promotional and public awareness accountability.

Promotes and represents FSE at public relations events, promotional opportunities, marketing campaigns, business and committee meetings, and other public functions. Prepares reports and proposals, and responds to inquiries from prospective and existing parents and students. Participates in the development of operating goals and objectives for the marketing and communications department; recommends, implements, and administers methods and procedures to enhance operations, as appropriate to the department.

Guides and oversees the work of Seasonal Recruiters when engaged in directly related support activities; may participate in employee training for school site secretaries and other office staff in collaboration with the charter school Program Analyst. Counsel prospective families on the application and enrollment process; follow up with families to ensure that incomplete applications convert to completed applications for the waitlist and/or enrollment. Maintains a database showing the recruitment strategies implemented and the success of each strategy as related to student enrollment and retention in the charter schools.
