Search Fund Accelerator (SFA) is an entrepreneurial private equity firm located in the heart of Boston. We work with a select group of entrepreneurs coming from the top 15 MBA programs to identify, acquire, and grow a privately held businesses across the United States. After a successful search, SFA searchers become the CEO of the business they acquire. Since the Firms inception in 2015, SFA has built a diverse portfolio of 8 operating companies across multiple industries. The Firm is currently supporting 9 entrepreneurs at SFA who are searching for a business to acquire.

The role is split into 3 main and interrelated responsibilities:

1. Intern & Analyst Recruiting

The manager helps market the intern program to all Boston based schools, finding candidates and helping the searchers find the best candidates for their team. This is done 3 times a year for the Spring, Summer and Fall.

Analyst recruiting is constant throughout the year and candidates are recruited from all across the country. Analysts are crucial to the success of each searcher and it is key that the manager always find new ways to market the program and build relationships with school career services. The manager selects, interviews and evaluates the candidates to see which analyst would be a fit for SFA as well as a particular searcher.

2. Intern & Analyst Training/Management

All interns and analysts go through a training program when starting at SFA. The manager administers the program and is in charge of constantly improving it by coordinating with the SFA team and searchers. It is a priority to make the analyst program an exceptional learning experience including frequent workshops, events, and more.

3. Office Management

Part of the Managers time will be allocated to managing relations with our landlord, ordering supplies and equipment, managing vendors and other suppliers, and generally making sure the office runs smoothly. This also involves event planning and management for intern learning workshops, family dinners, weekly searcher/management meetings, clinics, and all other professional and social events at SFA.

Requirements

An undergraduate degree with prior experience in office management or coordinating long-term multi-team projects

Strong interpersonal, communication, and writing skills

Ability and desire to work in a collaborative environment

Entrepreneurial mindset and positive attitude
