  • Works in partnership with the Staffing Specialists and HR Managers to develop talents pools and candidate sources for skilled labor and craft positions

  • Performs outreach and develops relationships with community and technical colleges/schools/training centers, career placement offices, faculty and staff to foster effective recruiting and sourcing of skilled labor and craft positions

  • Conducts research and analysis to identify secondary and post-secondary institutions to target energy career outreach efforts Develops materials and resources to promote energy careers to secondary and post-secondary students

  • Participates in the applicant screening and selection process in partnership with the Staffing Specialists and HR Managers as needed Identifies talent pipelines and organizations to source and recruit military service members, veterans, and military spouses Develops and coordinates veteran recruitment and outreach efforts and events (i.e. career fairs, open houses, community outreach, etc.)

  • Creatively and proactively sources veteran candidates through external job postings, placement offices, social media, career fairs, etc.

  • Serves as a testing coordinator for the company's pre-employment assessment programs

  • Maintains oversight and audit responsibilities of company pre-employment assessment processes and documentation as required by the assessment organizations

  • Provides follow-up consultation to candidates seeking feedback on pre-employment assessment results in timely manner

  • Develops resources and solutions for applicants to prepare for pre-employment assessments (i.e. preparation materials, on-line resources, on-site classes, etc.)

  • Works with the Manager Inclusion & Diversity and Manager Corporate Responsibility in the identification of outreach channels to increase the diversity of applicant pools

  • Tracks success of outreach and recruiting efforts

  • Provides input into the company's recruitment communication channels

  • Keeps informed of current staffing trends and generally accepted human resource practices through membership in various associations

  • Ensures that recruiting and hiring activities are in compliance with federal and state regulations and company policies and procedures

  • Performs other duties and undertakes special projects as assigned

Work Conditions Professional office environment; Will regularly travel throughout the region to attend career fairs, recruitment events, outreach efforts, interviews, etc.; Limited overnight travel required Physical Effort Duties require sufficient mobility to work in a normal office setting and use standard office equipment including computer. Occasional light lifting of large quantities of recruiting materials and display equipment that may weigh 30-50 pounds required.

Job Summary We are seeking experienced business-to-business Recruitment Operations Representative in the Louisville area to develop and organize new blood drive opportunities with community businesses, churches, schools and other sponsors. You will also work with Education Groups. Recruitment Associates in this fast-paced role will also work with these organizations to recruit blood donors from their respective networks. This position is not incentive eligible. The position is offered with a base salary only. Base is at 47K. Job Responsibilities * Plan and implement effective strategies to recruit, retain and manage sponsor organizations to achieve established blood collection goals * Apply market knowledge and evaluation of community, government, demographics and competitors to identify areas for market expansion in assigned territory * Recommend overall sponsor recruitment plans and project plans for short- and long-term goal achievement * Coordinate structure, staffing, schedule and marketing necessary to reach individual drive goals * Educate and provide ongoing support to sponsors, volunteers and staff on blood drive protocol, how to recruit employee ambassadors, and expectations/requirements for the event * Interact in a positive, proactive, and customer-focused manner with both internal and external customers, demonstrating care and compassion always.
