POSITION SUMMARY: The Recruitment Assistant plays a crucial role in supporting the Admission team and processes. This position blends customer service, project management, and technical skills. We're seeking a recent college graduate who exudes a genuine enthusiasm for BJU, possesses impeccable communication abilities, thrives on precision, and is eager to expand their knowledge.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Serves as the main point of contact for incoming calls to the Admission Department, ensuring callers feel valued, addressing inquiries, and directing calls as necessary.
Manages the Admission email account, promptly responding to or redirecting emails as required.
Provides assistance to the director and assistant directors, contributing to various tasks and projects as assigned.
Processes contact information for prospective students.
Aids in the packing of promotional materials for events and travel engagements.
Supports various Admission team events as directed.
Bachelor's degree from Bob Jones University preferred
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with a knack for clarity, precision, and persuasion across phone, email, and text channels.
Exceptional attention to detail and adherence to procedures.
Demonstrated initiative in acquiring and mastering responsibilities.
Ability to juggle multiple tasks, oversee projects, and effectively prioritize and organize duties.
Strong keyboarding/typing skills.
