Nouria Energy Corporation is a multi-generational family-owned wholesale fuel distributor, convenience store operator and car wash operator in New England. GENERAL SUMMARY

The Recruiter is responsible for the sourcing and pipeline development of active and passive candidates for high volume field positions in the organization. Will have extensive interaction with hiring managers with a consultative approach that drives the candidate management process to facilitate a greater volume of candidates in the recruitment life cycle. The incumbent will develop and maintain extensive networks within professional associations and within the community to ensure a continuous flow of candidates.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Execute accurate timely reporting on key staffing metrics determined by operations. Track metrics and use data for strategic analysis of recruiting campaigns.

  • Lead full cycle recruitment, leveraging internal and external channels.

  • Creatively source and attract top-talent retail candidates by utilizing face to face recruiting tactics, job posting, job board mining, internet sourcing, social networking, employee referrals, and networking events.

  • Build strategic partnerships with DMs and location Managers.

  • Develop pools of talent ahead of need to increase both quality and cycle time.

  • Support the operations team with all hiring needs.

  • Assist with facilitating the interview process for potential candidates.

  • Partner with the recruiting manager to identify retention strategies.

  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activity.

  • Conduct initial phone interviews and pre-qualify candidates that meet basic requirements

  • Regularly check in with management to determine the effectiveness of the recruiting strategy

  • Understand the competitive landscape and develop new ways for our corporate brand to stand out across all touchpoints. Help to build the employer brand and ensure that the company becomes known for being one of the great places to work.

  • Responsible for administration of the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).

  • Develop, update and maintain all job postings for the organization via applicable software.

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS

  • 3+ years of progressive retail recruiting experience preferably in the multi-unit retail organization.

  • Thorough Retail industry knowledge is a must.

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Organizational Development or Human Resources.

  • The ability to attract top talent candidates face to face, via phone and technology.

  • Maintain confidentiality and thoroughness.

  • Ability to build and maintain relationships across all levels of the organization.

  • Must have experience with developing analytics and providing daily and weekly reports to the management team.

  • Solid organization, project management and planning skills.

  • Ability to excel in a demanding, deadline-driven environment with a focus on delivering projected results.

  • Persuasive presentation skills; Powerful inter-personal skills.

  • Independent and creative thinker.

  • Team player and Leader.

  • Travel 20-25% throughout New England region.

  • Comfortable initiating and responding to high volume of calls daily.

  • Ability to effectively work independently and utilize time with utmost efficiency.

Physical Requirements: Ability to regularly be walking, standing, stooping, kneeling,

Travel: Travel is regional and local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected. Employee is expected to provide his/her own transportation and is eligible to participate in the IRS approved FAVR reimbursement program.

Availability: This is a full-time position, and hours of work and days are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m. Occasional evening and weekend work may be required as job duties demand.
