Hearst is seeking a Recruiting Specialist to support our continued growth and expansion. The Recruiting Specialist will focus primarily on proactive outreach to passive candidates for our sales and sales leadership positions in assigned markets across the US.

The Recruiting Specialist proactively sources talent and should have experience in a wide variety of passive recruitment tools with a strong ability to cold call. Likewise, you must be able to build and conduct an effective recruiting campaign to attract applicants.

Day to day duties include conducting phone interviews and facilitating the interview process for the hiring managers, updating candidate records in the applicant tracking system, extending offers and ensuring seamless on-boarding of new hires.

The ideal candidate has a BS in Business, HR or a related discipline, with 2+ years of recruiting experience. You must have experience in a high volume recruiting department, and experience recruiting sales representatives.

A mix of corporate and agency experience is preferred. Strong communication and presentation skills are a must. Strong ATS and MS Office skills are required.

Must have experience using tools such as LinkedIn, job boards, and other social media outlets to recruit. Must be highly flexible and capable of handling multiple and shifting priorities. Must enjoy a fast paced, deadline driven environment, and be able to drive between offices and to events.
