The Central Market Recruiting Team supports continuous talent needs by managing all aspects of candidate generation. As a Recruiting Sourcer, you will support activities related to recruiting programs, policies, and processes to ensure Central Market maintains its goal to be The Greatest Retailing Company.

What is the work? (other duties may be assigned)

Recruiting (Sourcing):

Develops, executes, and monitors online candidate search campaigns using a variety of Internet search engines as a delivery vehicle to continually produce quality candidates

Develops and executes innovative search techniques to generate a pool of candidates necessary to staff open positions

Conducts talent mapping regarding competition, as needed

identifies / generates interest in jobs and skills in highly sought-after talent pools on a continual basis

Evaluates candidate skill level and potential fit with

Central Market culture; builds a strong pipeline of candidates

Identifies and defines new process improvement opportunities

Continually identifies, analyzes, and reports on effective recruiting / hiring trends or patterns; makes recommendations based on recruiting data

Explores market best practices in recruitment / sourcing

Implements creative and targeted search / marketing strategies that help recruiting staff be more successful in pipelining both active and passive candidates, including managing Internet postings for all e-recruiting sites

Collaborates with hiring managers, HR, and the Recruiting Team; engages with all facets of the recruiting process to assist in achieving overall recruiting goals

Follows up with candidates, Recruiters, and hiring managers as needed

Analytics / Reporting:

Performs ongoing, intermediate quantitative and qualitative analysis to determine sourcing staffing effectiveness based on statistics, cost efficiency, and customer feedback

Develops, tracks, and analyzes all e-recruiting programs to optimize investments on a cyclical basis

Creates and updates database of potential candidates

Maintains the integrity of recruiting reports and applicant tracking

Provides sourcing metrics as needed

Strategy:

Collaborates with recruiting staff to develop, execute, and manage effective campus recruiting campaigns, including conducting research to improve relationships with colleges and universities

Meets with leadership and recruiting staff on a regular basis to collaborate on optimum approaches to strengthen candidate pool, including annual recruiting strategies and diversity initiatives

Assists with implementing media communication strategy for different job profiles and functions

Preferred Education and Experience

Bachelor's degree in human resources, business / marketing, or related field, or comparable experience
3 years of related experience PLUS
3 years of experience using advanced sourcing and selection tools
2 years of direct recruiting or marketing analysis (managing interactive media campaigns for direct applicant response, employment branding, and performance analysis)

Preferred Key Competencies

Proficiency in MS Office and database systems; technical expertise

Advanced creative thinking and writing skills

Advanced research / sourcing skills

Strong analytical and organization skills; meticulous attention to detail

Ability to prioritize and complete a high volume of work, managing multiple projects and coordinating multiple requests to successful completion

Ability to take initiative and self-motivate

Ability to build strong, productive business relationships

Ability to work with all levels of management, especially senior leadership

Resourcefulness; ability to proactively anticipate needs and provide solutions

Physical and Other Requirements

Function in a fast-paced, retail, office environment

Travel by car or plane with overnight stays

Sit for an extended periods
