A Recruiting Site Manager acts as an on-site extension of the client's HR function, managing all aspects of client contingent workforce, to include business relationship development, recruitment, selection, and management of the contingent employees.

Essential Job Responsibilities:

  • Build and maintain strategic partnership with the client through an extensive and detailed understanding of the client's business, strategic direction, processes, and policies

  • Maintain close contact with the key principles at the account to ensure highest level of client satisfaction possible

  • Build and maintain a talent pipeline that aligns with the client's needs and output requirement

  • Consistent execution of recruiting plan to ensure the right quantity and quality of talent

  • Screen and select candidates according to client specific job profiles and workforce forecasts

  • Comply with all operational standards and employment laws and regulations

  • Build top of mind awareness through in person visits, which foster a consultative relationship and increased business with the on-site client

  • Market talent's skills, knowledge and abilities to the right departments by making the best match for the client and the talent

  • Consistently exceed client and talent expectations, and stay ahead of the staffing industry by offering innovative, creative, and effective employment solutions

A Day in A Life * Leads a diverse matrixed team of experienced quality engineers, technicians and supervisors, including hiring, providing work direction, managing performance, and evaluating and developing talent. * Provides oversight for the development and maintenance of quality programs, systems, processes and procedures especially in the areas of production and process controls, management of non-conforming product, and continuous improvement and change control. * Facilitates uniform standards and enables best practice sharing across value streams and with sister facilities, thereby fostering the achievement of site's mission. * Supports and may lead cross functional investigations of complex product problems. Identifies and manages corrective actions resulting from these investigations. * Engages with customer facilities to resolve issues related to component quality. May represent the site in quality reviews with customer facilities and supported businesses. * Provides expertise and guidance in interpreting policies, regulatory and/or governmental regulations, and internal regulations to assure compliance. Recommends and may drive updates to local and group level work instructions and procedures. * Implements strategic goals established by site and functional management. Represents quality on the site operations staff. May represent the site on group level functional teams. * Represents quality on the site operations leadership staff. Regularly interacts with site leadership and with quality leaders at customer sites. Responsibilities may also include the following and other duties may be assigned * Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company's design and development of new medical device products or software systems * May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products. * Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies. * Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products. * Directs the development of new concepts from initial design to market release. * Manages feasibility studies of the design to determine if capable of functioning as intended. * Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development. * Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery. * Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function. Must Have: Minimum Requirements Bachelors Degree in engineering, science or technical field with 7+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality with 5+ years of leadership experience, or advanced degree in engineering, science or technical field with 5+ years of experience in Engineering and/or Quality with 5+ years of leadership experience. Nice to Have * MBA or Masters degree in engineering or related field. * Fundamental understanding of operation of Medtronic CRM devices * Computer skills in MS Office, and Factory Works MES systems desirable * ASQ certification in Quality Engineering * Demonstrated ability in coaching/developing team members * Experience and working knowledge of FDA regulations/ISO standards for medical devices. * Strong interpersonal, organizational and project management skills. Demonstrated ability to influence both verbally and in writing. * Risk Management experience in the context of implantable medical devices. * Knowledge and experience in areas of Lean Manufacturing and Design for Reliability and Manufacturability * Knowledge and experience with the Medtronic Operating System and Cell Operating System About Medtronic Together, we can change healthcare worldwide.
