The Role

We are currently seeking a Recruiting Manager to support one of our RPO clients in the Bay Area.

As a Recruiting Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational aspects of the project deliverables. A key objective of this role is to ensure high quality service and customer satisfaction that is consistently maintained and achieved. As a member of the Korn Ferry RPO team, the Recruiting Manager will build and extend relationships through excellence in recruitment process delivery by leading a team of recruiters to source, screen and identify qualified candidates. This role focuses on high-touch relationship management of external customers and candidates as well as internal business partners.

Key Accountabilities

  • Manage the recruitment delivery process from end to end, ensuring quality recruitment activities and deliverables that are in-line with KPIs and Service Level Agreements ("SLAs") established for the project

  • Develop and implement improvements to sourcing strategies and multiple channels to build relevant talent pools

  • Manage, mentor and provide coaching to your team while driving them to effectively execute candidate care throughout the recruitment process

  • Anticipate and minimize risks on project at both micro and macro levels

  • Build trust and confidence with key client stakeholders through the relationship building process

  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvements and make constructive suggestions for change, including opportunities to increase customer satisfaction

Skills & Experience

Required Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience managing a recruitment team in a matrixed-managed environment
  • 5+ years of client facing experience interacting with Hiring Managers throughout the recruitment process
  • 5+ years of experience with applicant tracking systems
  • 5+ years of proficiency in all MS Office tools with a specific focus on Excel
  • 5+ years of experience knowing SLA's and SOW's and how they relate to our business
  • 5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing methodologies to include: market mapping, recruitment strategies and Boolean searches

Preferred Skills:

  • 10+ years of experience managing a recruitment team in a matrixed-managed environment

  • 7+ years of full life cycle recruitment experience

  • Bachelor's degree

What you'll achieve * Lead, motivate, continue to build, and grow a high performing recruiting team and deliver results * Be strategic partner but hands-on; you'll develop & improve ways to maximize efficiency, maintain exceptional candidate experience, drive a consistent & effective process to hire world class talent * Contribute to innovating recruitment at Asana through the use and implementation of advanced metrics, alternative interview tactics, and a strategic approach to leveraging the company's unique culture and people in the hiring process * Become an expert in our business and how engineering & product drive it forward * Remain up to date on recruiting trends, tools and systems in order to scale and support the team * Collaborate with leadership & People team on workforce planning, prioritization, and long-term vision * Partner closely with our Head of D+I and other recruiting leaders to support diversity hiring and shatter some barriers in the process * Represent Asana and the recruiting team at relevant industry events About you * 5+ experience in a recruiting leadership role, with time spent driving engineering hiring * Bachelor's Degree * Proven success in ideating and implementing innovative approaches to sourcing, recruitment, and talent development specifically for engineering talent * Experience positioning & hiring candidates in a highly competitive talent market (especially in the Bay Area, preferably across the globe) * Deep understanding of & passion for how technology works & product is built (even if you don't know how to code * Exceptional track record of management and mentorship of teams * Clearly demonstrated ability to leverage data in their approach to recruitment * Proven experience in change management and driving new process across an organization * Flexibility in balancing strategy and process-level thinking comfortably and frequently * Understanding of the value and prioritization of diversity initiatives in hiring practices * Passion & willingness to learning new ways of managing, leading, and hiring teams regardless of your experience Asana is a leading work management platform for teams, on a mission to help humanity thrive by enabling all teams to work together effortlessly.
