We're looking for an experienced Recruiting Manager for our Platform + Supply Recruiting Team to deliver top talent and lead strategic searches for our Ocean Freight (FCL/LCL), Air Freight, Trucking, Warehousing and Pricing departments across the U.S. We are looking for a dynamic leader to align our efforts and processes while demonstrating results. In addition, you'll have robust knowledge of best practices and a comprehensive understanding of this complex industry to identify, source and assess profiles to build pipelines, and build strong partnerships with those internal supply team leads and teams. What you'll do:

  • Lead the Supply Chain recruiting team and run full recruiting cycle for a variety of positions including: Ocean Freight, LCL Ocean Freight, Air Freight, Trucking, Warehousing, and Pricing;

  • Proactively build talent pipelines through referral generation, online sourcing, and sourcing campaigns;

  • Source and identify passive candidates while tracking data to ensure you're investing in sources with the highest ROI; Recommend creative and results-oriented ideas to cultivate a diverse pipeline;

  • Regularly over-communicate information such as candidate pipelines, recruiting funnel metrics, and performance data to internal stakeholders;

  • Write eye catching copy to ensure top conversion rates; Locate and engage passive candidates through the use of Linkedin, Boolean sourcing, industry event participation and alternative search techniques;

  • Partner closely with our Recruiting and Hiring Leaders to ensure we attract, assess, woo, and close the best of the best; Develop strong relationships with Hiring Leaders to understand the needs of the business;

  • Conduct research to understand the competitive landscape and share findings with broader Platform + Supply Recruiting team;

  • Build trusted candidate relationships, drive offer approvals, extensions, and negotiations;

  • Help build the Flexport Recruiting Brand from the ground up.

What you'll bring:

  • BA/BS Degree with 8+ years of experience in Recruiting & Sourcing for Supply Chain, Transportation, and Logistics teams with 2+ years management experience; Experience in fast growing companies a plus;

Experience in full lifecycle lateral/experienced recruiting, from sourcing to onboarding active and passive candidates in an executive search firm, recruitment agency or in-house corporate talent team. Successful leadership with overseeing and driving the full lateral/experienced recruitment process, including hiring manager communication, assisting with business workforce planning, providing talent mix/ talent availability recommendations, preparing and posting job descriptions, performing direct sourcing, screening candidates, delivering approved talent assessments, coordinating interviews, and, selling the Firm brand from offer negotiation to closing and onboarding. Proven interpersonal, verbal, and written business communication skills, emphasizing the ability to tailor messages appropriately by audience. Experience working with Hiring Leaders and the interview support teams to confirm candidates are assessed consistently against defined interview standards and in accordance with all state and federal laws and regulations. Ability to understand and interpret data while collaborating with key stakeholders to identify actionable insights for continuous improvement and make better decisions that ultimately drives quality in hires.
