About the team and position

As a Recruiting Coordinator you will be an integral part and the administrative backbone of the Talent Acquisition team! No day will be the same. You will schedule interviews, screen candidates, refresh job requisitions, gather feedback, extend offers, and ensure candidates have a seamless interview process. You will help with sourcing and reviewing resumes when time permits, and provide input on forming Carvana best practices since we LOVE collaborating. You will also develop and maintain business relationships with your (really awesome) coworkers within Carvana! You will help us build a stronger company. Every day.

COVID-19 UPDATE: We have taken steps to support the health and well-being of current and potential employees. Our interview process is hosted virtually. This role is currently remote/home-based, with the intention of returning to our Tempe corporate office in the future. Must live within the Phoenix, Arizona area

What you'll be doing

  • No day will be exactly like the other. You will be the administrative backbone for the Market Operations Recruiting team.

  • You will schedule interviews, extend offers, and ensure candidates are ready for their first day of work.

  • Research and use creative resources to source and attract talented individuals.

  • You will act as a resource for new hires as they become familiar with our big happy family here at Carvana!

  • You will also develop and maintain business relationships with your (really awesome) coworkers within Carvana.

  • You will help us build a stronger company. Every single day.

  • Other duties as assigned.

What you should know/have:

  • You have at least 2 years of relevant work experience.

  • Bachelor Degree Required

  • Experience using LinkedIn recruiter to source qualified candidates highly preferred

  • Exceptional interpersonal and written and verbal communication skills.

  • You operate with a sense of urgency without sacrificing accuracy. We are fast-paced and need people who can keep up!

  • You have a sense of humor. Kinda serious about this one.

  • You have to understand the value of teamwork and how teams workthat was deep. If you disagree, read it again. Out loud if necessary.

  • You have the ability to multitask and prioritize like a ninja.

  • You are comfortable with change and can easily adapt.

We track our successes not through requisitions and applicant tracking software, but through the longevity of our employees. This individual manages the interview scheduling, job posting, travel planning and general administrative functions of the department. The ideal candidate must enjoy the challenges of working in a fast-paced ever changing environment. Strong attention to detail, a commitment to customer service and strong skills in MS Office are critical to success in this role. This position is responsible for the following: * Interview scheduling utilizing Microsoft Teams, Outlook, Calendly, and Greenhouse. This includes setting up phone screens, video interviews, site visits, and formal interviews with multiple managers across multiple time zones. * Maintaining contact with candidates via phone, email, and text to ensure they have an efficient and positive interview experience. * Job posting management - post positions on internal website, Indeed, craigslist, LinkedIn, Handshake, etc., based on position and location.
