Correct Care Recovery Solutions (CCRS) has partnered with the Massachusetts Department of Corrections to comprehensively manage and provide medical and mental health care, forensic mental health evaluation and treatment, substance abuse treatment and dental services to patients at Bridgewater State Hospital. Overview

Our Human Resources Assistant provides support to the Human Resources Generalist and the Director of Human Resources by performing highly confidential administrative support duties and responsibilities thereby relieving the Human Resources Generalist of minor and routine administrative business details. Organizes office operations and procedures for an efficient workflow.

Qualifications

Education:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • College level courses preferred

Experience:

  • A minimum of one (1) year experience as clerical support

  • Prior experience in Human Resources preferred.

  • Ability to work with computers and the necessary software applications used by the department.

Licenses/Certifications:

  • None required

Responsibilities

  • Provides administrative support to the Human Resource Department. Keeps minutes of staff and committee meetings.

  • Performs advanced administrative/support duties such as composing correspondence auditing employee files monthly and maintaining office supplies and equipment.

  • Acts as front desk to the HR department. Responsible for answering phone calls, scheduling appointments and directing employees to the appropriate HR representative; issues name badges.

  • Maintains employee personnel, confidential and medical files by assuring filing is complete.

  • Fingerprints employees on live scan equipment. Maintains record of Level 2 Background Screening for new employees. Also, maintains record of 5 year re-screenings.
