Samaritan's Purse is seeking a Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist to join our team at our International Headquarters location in Boone, NC. You can be part of selecting top talent to join the Ministry! As a Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist, you will be responsible to lead the recruiting processes from posting the position through job offer acceptance. You will have the opportunity to cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with your assigned departments and hiring managers. A day in the life of a Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist:

In the role of Recruiting and Sourcing Specialist, you will have the opportunity to:

• Maintain your personal relationship with Jesus Christ and be an effective witness for Him

• Develop and execute customized sourcing strategies in order to proactively identify talent gaps and build pipelines

• Research sourcing techniques and marketing campaigns to enhance communication and increase customer service levels

• Conduct exploratory conversations with referrals, prospects, and candidates via phone and email to ensure a positive candidate experience

• Actively build and maintain prospect pools and candidate pipelines for future vacancies through social media networks and databases by continuously promoting the ministry and building the employer brand

• Engage in timely communication with the talent network and talent leads, match candidate profiles to relevant roles, and present matches to Recruiting & HR Partnership team

• Cultivate and maintain effective working relationships with Recruiters, assigned departments and hiring managers

• Lead strategy meetings for job openings, conduct interviews for ministry-alignment and job fit, and advise hiring teams throughout the recruiter, interview, and selection process

• Discuss workforce planning needs with assigned departments and provide guidance and direction as needed

• Maintain accurate database records of prospective, active, and former candidates

• Follow policies and procedures of Samaritans Purse as set forth in the Policy Manual

• Attend daily morning devotions and participates in prayer support for the ministry, donors and volunteers

• Maintain a strong Christian witness to colleagues, vendors, charitable beneficiaries, and the general public

• All other duties as assigned
