Faulkner University is seeking a qualified individual to serve as Recruiter/Admissions Counselor for Executive and Professional Enrollment. The selected individual will serve as an advisor, counselor, and an interpreter of the University's policies to individuals seeking admission to the University. Faulkner University is a Christian university affiliated with the churches of Christ.
This is a full-time (40+ hours per week), 12-month position.
Summary of Duties:
Develop and maintain a general working knowledge of Financial Aid in order to counsel prospective students
Provide immediate and frequent follow up with prospective students, applicants and non-returning students; contact on a regular basis and update student profiles
Complete preliminary reviews of transfer credit on prospective students; collect documents needed for completion of academic and financial aid files prior to registration
Schedule and hold recruiting functions as required
Make outside calls (corporate visits) to businesses and organizations each month
Achieve established recruiting goals for each program based on historical data
Provide input regarding advertising methods used by Faulkner and other competing academic institutions
Serve as a key contact for the students during their academic program; aid students in tracking their progress toward meeting program requirements
Travel as necessary for recruiting, registrations, public relations and training
Qualifications:
Master's degree preferred; bachelor's degree required; experience considered in lieu of desired education level
General knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Google Workspace
Active member of the church of Christ
