Reporting to the Associate Director of Talent, you will work with a team of four at The Cheesecake Factory corporate support enter in Calabasas Hills, CA. As the Temporary Recruiter, you will play an integral part in sourcing candidates for a global $2.3 billion publicly traded company with over 200 full service restaurants and more than 39,000 total staff members.

Here's more of what you'll get to do:

  • Recruit for corporate positions; performing extensive pre-screening of hundreds of candidate resumes weekly within resume boards, LinkedIn and Taleo Applicant Tracking System.

  • Conduct phone screen interviews while vetting for culture, personality, fundamental technical skills and targeted competencies.

  • Coordinate referral inbox, internship job boards, tracking of temporary employees, and other administrative tasks.


What we require:

  • 2+ years of recruiting experience.

  • Ability to be influential, self-motivated, self-managed, and highly organized in an autonomous environment.

  • Demonstrated experience using LinkedIn Recruiter.

  • Demonstrated experience using an enterprise level applicant tracking system (ATS).

  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills.

  • Proficient with Microsoft Office programs. (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint)

This includes assisting in the design and implementation of audit processes, management and training of staff, execution of risk assessments, and special projects. Responsible for planning and execution of financial and operational audits, fraud investigations, and leading projects associated with Section 404 of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) throughout the company. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES * Perform internal control documentation of the company's financial systems, processes and procedures in conjunction with SOX compliance, including functional areas such as sales and recruiting (contracts), temporary employee and contractor payments, billing for temps and permanent placement fees, cash receipts, collections efforts, cash disbursements, corporate payroll, fixed assets, month-end close, financial reporting, and entity level controls. * Carry out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the organization's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include: * interview, hire, and train employees; * plan, assign, and direct work; * appraise performance; * reward and discipline employees; * address complaints and resolve problems. * Ensure that all documentation relative to SOX compliance meets the standard where the independent external auditors can place full reliance on the Internal Audit Department's testing. * Build and maintain strong cross-functional partnerships with management and the independent external auditors. * Collaborate with management to enhance business processes and controls and identify opportunities to improve operational efficiencies. * Assist management in the remediation of audit findings, track and monitor progress of remediation efforts, and assist on a consultative basis where needed to ensure the issues are resolved or the associated risk are reduced to an acceptable level. * Assist the Director of Internal Audit in the administrative work of the internal audit function, which includes preparing the annual audit work plan, reporting findings to management, and enhancing the Internal Audit approach to increase the quality and effectiveness of audits. * Perform other audit tasks, as necessary. QUALIFICATIONS Competency Statements * Comprehensive knowledge of internal auditing standards, COSO, US GAAP and US GAAS, SOX 404 Compliance, and recent PCAOB guidelines. * Strong interpersonal, management, and team-building skills to effectively communicate with internal audit staff, management, and external auditors. * Working knowledge of supervisory practices and principles. * Familiar with PeopleSoft and SOXHub. Education * CPA or equivalent required. CIA, CISA or other designation desirable. * Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance preferred. Experience * Minimum of five years audit experience required, preferably with Big 4 experience. SKILLS & ABILITIES Computer Skills Proficient use of Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel.
